Rejoignez l'excursion des points forts de Gibraltar : visite guidée d'une journée au départ de Séville et découverte du meilleur de ce que cette région peut offrir aux côtés d'un guide local professionnel.
Advertised as an eleven hour tour, we spent 2.5 hours travelling each way and only just over 3 hours actually in Gibraltar. The border crossing took too long , we had to show our passports three times to three different officials. It transpired that the minivan did not have a permit to enter Gibraltar. Gibraltar itself is an interesting place to visit but the organisation of this tour left much to be desired.
This tour was a disaster because our driver spoke no English. We drove in silence for 2 hours to the Spanish side of Gibraltar where the driver pulled up outside BurgerKing and indicated to us we should get out. He then drove off leaving us and two other couples standing in the street wondering what was going on. After about 20 minutes the driver returned - apparently he had been parking the van. He then charged off with us racing to keep up, leaving the older couple trailing miles behind... We went through immigration and were introduced to our driver/guide for the Gibraltar 2 hour tour. Our other driver disappeared. This guide was good - we saw the caves and the Barbery apes and learnt some history. However he then told us that although normally he would drop tourists off in the town so we could have lunch and shop, our driver had told him to drop us back at the bus station! We all revolted - we had paid for an 11 hour tour and we wanted our lunch and shopping time. We finally did get dropped off in the town but we were anxious if we would ever find our driver and get back to Seville! After 2 hours we headed off and saw a bus with 'Frontera' on it so thought maybe we needed to catch it. We had no pounds so were charged 3 times the price to use euros. We were dropped in the car park on the Gibraltar side wondering if we would ever find our driver. Fortunately he turned up and we made it back to Seville. But it was not a good experience! Gibraltar is worth seeing but not with this tour company!
