Our guide Cisco was excellent! He was very knowledgable and we learnt a lot from him. We spent enough time in each location and he gave us great photo tips:) I gave 4 stars because the food at lunch was really bad, very cold and one choice for vegetarians.
Great day out

Tour was well organised. Our guide Cisco was knowledgeable. Highly recommended if you have only a day to visit Macau.
Great time in Macau

Great tour. Fantastic guide--very knowledgeable. Spent time in largest (the Venetian) and smallest (Jackie Chan's) casinos. Lots of information regarding China's takeover of Macau. Visited historic church and city center. Great ride over and back on Jet Boat.
Nice trip, odd guide.

The trip is nice, the guide is funny. However what make me very angry was the guide asking one by one asking for tips with a bag inside the bus at the end of the tour. Also, two stops in two shops (30 min each).
A trip to remember.

From the time we were picked up from our Hong Kong hotel to the time we were dropped off, this tour was extremely well organised. Mario, our Portuguese guide in Macao, was entertaining and kept us well informed about everything we saw. His knowledge of the history of colonization leading to the take-over by the Chinese government was most informative. All round, a great excursion well worth doing. The only negative, if you could call it a negative, was that we were in a hotel on Hong Kong island, but the tour we were on left from Kowloon ferry terminal. So, after a long day out, we had to make the trip back to our hotel through peak hour traffic. As far as I am aware, there are Macao ferries that leave from Hong Kong island, so when booking this tour see if you can get one that originates from the island if you are staying on the island.

awesome trip despite long travel periodsOur guide Carlos was amazing and multi lingual and addressed a lot of the people in their own tongue which was pretty cool - as were the fresh Portuguese tarts he arranged for us, collected and eaten after lunch!Beautiful sights - next time we will stay longer

Our tour guide was very good. He gave us many facts about Macau. I especially enjoyed seeing all the places to gamble and hear how the city has grown. Tour went by fast / not boring. comfortable tour bus. I would recommend.
Macau Day Trip

NOTE: This is a tour where you need to bring your passports, which was clearly stated. The tour began on a sour note in that we were picked up late from our hotel and, therefore, missed our 8:30 am ferry to Macau. So, by the time we caught the next ferry at 9:15 am, and had everyone accounted for, our tour didn’t actually begin until 11:00 am! That showed poor planning. We wasted so much time just getting to Macau. We finally arrived in Macau and met our tour guide, Mario, who took us to the Venetian Casino, said to be the largest casino in the world. Then, we went up to the Macau Sky Tower and watched as the young people bunji jump at $500.00 a jump, or $100.00 a second. That was very interesting. After that, we stopped to see the UNESCO Heritage Ama Temple, bought some pastries, took a picture of the Sun Goddess and then had a relatively nice Chinese lunch around 2:30 pm. We walked to the Ruins of St. Paul’s Cathedral built in the 1600’s. It has a Spanish Steps view similar to that in Rome. There we walked through the very crowded narrow streets and got on the bus to take us back to the ferry, where we said goodbye to Mario. We began our Hong Kong return around 5:45 pm, a one hour trip where we met another guide who took us to our hotel around 8:00 pm where our driver dropped us off in front of our hotel. It was a long day.The Chinese lunch was mediocre at best and, as with our previous day tour, there was a lot of wasted time. We were given only 15 minutes of free time at a very small souvenir shop where the quantity and quality were lacking.A big gripe among the people on our tour was the stereotypical and insensitive ethnic comments and sometimes-rude behavior toward supposedly Mainland Chinese by our tour guide. It made many of us uncomfortable. Granted there were many people crowded in very narrow streets, but to openly yell at the Chinese in front of us was really unacceptable. We didn’t come to Hong Kong or Macau to hear about his frustrating interactions with the Mainland Chinese as he was Portuguese. And while I understand his frustrations with large Mainland Chinese tourists who were pretty pushy and aggressive, the tour guide should have had more restraint.Other than the wasted time, the tour was fine. It wasn’t excellent, but I’m glad I had a chance to visit Macau.
Interesting fast paced trip

Cisco led a fast paced informative tour of Macau. Went into the Venetian which looks about the same as Vegas. Given an opportunity to go up the Macau Tower for an extra fee. It was a pretty clear day and an aerial view is always helpful. He spent a little to much time obsessed with the jumpers. I would have spent more time enjoying the view by going to 58th floor on my own if I hd it to do over again. Lunch was just ok. The custard egg tarts we could buy were delicious. Also went to Grand Emperor Casino which was more interesting to me but, only saw the lobby. Buildings were interesting in Old part of Macau. The jet boat over to Macau was wonderful and operated like an airplane with assigned seats. You can not go outside on this ferry. Very quiet ride as you go zooming past other vessels.
This was a fun tour. A good refresher...

This was a fun tour. A good refresher from my last trip several years ago.
