A Fantastic tour to see the elephants up close. We chose to feed and bathe the baby elephants for a little extra money and it was well worth it. Our guide was also very friendly and really looked after us. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour.

Amazing trip, our guide was amazing and made the day very easy going.
Highlight of the day was bathing the baby elephants lots of splashing and lots of fun.
The Deerland may sound a bit naff but it was actually a lot of fun and well worth doing if you like animal encounters.
Cant fault the day bloody brilliant !

The Batu Caves first part of tour are a must see for any visit to KL. The Sanctuary is good for getting close to the younger elephants and watching the adults interact with their mahuts. It's rather frustrating being taken first to see a film, which one could see from home, but the content - the struggle to help elephants in the face of the mass loss of their ranges to the palm oil plantations and miserable government funding is worth seeing. We had a lovely guide, Johnson, and enjoyed his company.

Absolutely loved the elephants and our guide was great.

This review is several months late because it would not process the last time I tried. This tour is best described as a scam. The tour van was absolutely disgusting-- ROACHES crawled all over the place, including on my friend's leg! We brought it up to our guide, but he said that was normal! That was a lie- no other taxi I used in Kuala Lumpur had roaches! Our guide was worse than a taxi driver- he had no advice, trivia, or other knowledge to give about the city or the tour destinations. He simply picked us up and dropped us off. The Batu Caves itself was amazing, but we could have easily reached it with a taxi driver or Uber.

The Elephant Sanctuary was downright horrible and it made sense afterward why nobody we knew in KL had heard of it. The elephants were forced with rods to do tricks and bath in stagnant water full of feces. I am very glad I did not buy the extra ticket offered to bathe with the baby elephants, because the water is probably full of bad bacteria. I would heavily advise against supporting the business.

All in all, we paid an exorbitant amount for a glorified taxi driver. We could have paid a fraction of the amount to just take a taxi or Uber to the Batu Caves and have had a great time. Our experience was ruined.

Tour guide to pick us up was late. Supposed to arrive by 9AM. Did not arrive until 945 AM. We arrived at the DEER farm first. The deer farm was not open, the driver told us oh I guess it must be closed today'' so we didn't get to do that. So we continued to our elephant sanctuary. The lunch was rice and chicken, nothing too special. We then proceeded to the film, which we were late too, so we only saw the second half of the film. So the start of the day wasn't that great! Needless to say we then got to the elephants which was very nice. We got to feed them, however you have to pay 3 in order to get a small amount of food to feed them. After that we watched a short show and then you had the oppurtunity to bathe with the elephants, again you have to pay 10 to bathe with them and 50 for a tour guide of the site. After paying over 100 each for the tour wasn't too sure why we had to pay to feed the elephants, get a tour guide and pay to bath. Nice day, overall unimpressed with late driver, deer farm being closed and having to pay additional for everything once there.

The tour guide was grate, he was very nice!! On the tour we were only 4 people so it felt like it was personlized since the tour guide was very focused on making our expericene an amazing one.
