Eccezionale tour per piccoli gruppi. Copre Pisa e Firenze. La guida / autista aveva molta conoscenza locale. Pisa è assolutamente da vedere. Così tanti lo saltano. .

Il nostro autista era eccellente e chiaramente appassionato di condividere con noi la sua zona di origine. Ha preso percorsi che ci hanno permesso di vedere parti di Firenze che altrimenti non avremmo potuto vivere e abbiamo pranzato e gelato in comune per concludere una giornata fantastica!
No show-ci ha lasciato al molo!

Dopo aver cercato il nostro autista per un'ora e mezza sul molo, abbiamo trovato qualcuno della stessa compagnia. Ha chiamato il suo ufficio e hanno detto loro che era stato cancellato. Mostro subito alla signora le mie due conferme. Mi ha messo al telefono e la signora dell'ufficio mi ha detto che NON hanno inviato le conferme. Invece hanno inviato una cancellazione. Gliel'ho letto e lei lo ha ancora negato. 10 minuti dopo la chiamata ho ricevuto la cancellazione. Non prenoterei questa escursione!

Dear Patti, We are dreadfully sorry about what happened to you and are also mystified regarding the cause. We never received this reservation. We spoke with Viator about it and are at an impasse. They show it on their side but we didn't receive a notification. This is the first time this has occurred in all the years we've been collaborating with Viator and frankly we don't know what to say, except that some sort of technical glitch must have transpired. We can assure you, however, that the cancellation you received came from Viator, not from us, which also explains why we don't have record of a phone call from you on the day in question. Again, we regret the stress and disappointment you endured, and are still perplexed about what went sideways.

La nostra guida/autista Simona è stata meravigliosa! Abbiamo avuto modo di vedere tutto ciò che volevamo e poi alcuni! Esperienza molto intima con solo 8 ospiti. Sembrava un tour privato!

Una grande panoramica di Pisa e Firenze.

Grazie al nostro fantastico ospite Alberto. Un bel giro. Abbiamo trascorso del tempo a Pisa, ha evidenziato le cose lungo il percorso, poi siamo andati a Firenze e abbiamo visto la città dalla vedetta e poi siamo andati in città. Abbiamo visto tutti i siti che vorresti vedere per orientarti verso la città. Consiglierei una giornata da solo esplorando dopo questo tour. Devi sempre fare attenzione quando prenoti questi tour poiché non hai il controllo sugli altri ospiti. Avevamo due signore che stavano tornando in ritardo al punto di incontro e quindi hanno ridotto il tempo negli altri siti che dovevamo vedere. Il nostro autista si è scusato così tanto ma non è stata colpa sua. Nel complesso, consiglierei questa gita di un giorno.

Highly recommended as a shore excursion

Chauffeur/guide Valerio was on time and easy to find. He started sharing his extensive knowledge of the area as soon as we got in the car. Route was modified to offer beautiful winery scenery. We were on our own in Florence but he had mapped out a route for us. We shared lunch together and had a wonderful trip back to Livorno in time to board.

This was more transportation than a tour. The driver provided limited information, not even telling us what sites required tickets for admission or where to get them. We were driven to Pisa and Florence, dropped off and told when to be back to our meeting point. Other than that, we were on our own. It would have be helpful to have at least been provide with a map of Florence so that we could better find our way to the sites we wanted to see. If you are looking for a guided tour of Pisa and Florence, look elsewhere.

a great excursion from our cruise

We had a day ported in Florence on a cruise and we decided to take this tour as it was affordable and offered stops to see Pisa and Florence. We really enjoyed every stop on the tour and got to meet the people who were also on our cruise. Pick up and drop off was super easy. If you are hoping to have time to climb the Tower of Pisa, you will likely not have time on this tour. We were in Pisa for about 35 minutes, and the climb takes about 40 minutes the guide said, if you climb very quickly. Overall a great way to spend our time on our Florence day ashore.

A Cultural Excursion

We had a wonderful tour visiting Pisa and Florence thanks to our friendly tour guide and driver Laura from Diverinrome who was very professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. She not only provided substantial information of the points of interest but also went extra miles to show us the beauty of the fields of Tuscany. It was quite an unforgettable cultural experience immersed in the grandiose art, architecture, and history of this beautiful country with the assistance of our lovely guide Laura!

The tour got off to a rough start, but Laura and another lady from the company did a great job they got me where I needed to go! Laura was very personable and friendly, I really enjoyed the trip and the style she brought to it!

Pisa and Florence--drop off

Although our guide was friendly and enthusiastic, she failed to provide us much in the way of direction--or information on this trip. We were in a group of 7 and my husband and I were in the last row of the van. Despite the fact that we have no auditory issues,neither of us could hear what she was saying during the commentary from our seats. Our friends who were seated ahead of us did not have this problem, but for us-- between the road noise and the fact that she did not use a microphone, two people with normal hearing, missed most of what she said on this tour simply because we climbed in the backseat at the start of the day. We were dropped off for a brief photo shoot in Pisa (which, by the way, is not worth the 45 minute drive from the Naples cruise port if your time is limited as ours was) just to take one of those mandatory touristy pictures. We then proceeded in the opposite direction to to see Florence which is really brimming with important sights. Our guide stopped the van in a nondescript rest area--the purpose of which was never communicated to us. Later on when we asked her where we would find the bronze statue of David, she said--"Oh that was why we stopped before! No one in our group had any idea, so this was not an issue of us not hearing her, it was the fact that she forgot to tell us why we were pulling over. Once we were left in Florence, we asked her where the original David was housed. She told us it was in a museum and gestured vaguely into the city. Simply providing us with a map or even written directions--or an address would have made sense to us. For those who have limited time to see this region, consider another tour that includes "skip the lines" for Duomo and Florence museums as this tour was simply transportation and valuable time will be wasted searching for key locations.

Our van was very comfortable. Our driver was very informative and knowledgeable. He was able to maneuver the van into some very tight spaces so we could see the sights up close. We really enjoyed our day at Pisa and Florence because of this tour package.

This was a great way to go we had a wonderful driver Alberto who was very knowlegable and went out of his way for us. My hubby has a bad knee so Alberto drove us to the sites and waited for us then took us to the next site and once again waited whilst the other couple walked around to the sites and picked up at a designated spot, great job Alberto.

Pisa and Florence Italy Semi-Private Van Tour

Marco was our driver and he picked us up at the port in Florence where our Oceania Cruise Ship was docked. He was friendly and spoke good English and shared a lot of history about the areas we drove through as we travelled approx. 1 hour and 15 minutes to our first destination in Pisa, where we took some photos, then headed to Florence. He took us to the heart of Florence for us to explore the city, shop and have lunch. The van was a bit small for 8 passengers, but we made the best of it. Overall it was a very enjoyable experience and got a lot of great photos! The total tour lasted about 8 hours, however 2 1/2 to 3 hours was traveling to and from the port to our destinations.
The Perfect trip with the Perfect Guide !!

Florence and Pisa are by itselves two perfect places to visit, but with our guide/driver "Giovanni", all the trip was excellent. We could see everything with enough time. Giovanni, allways helpfull !! was able to explain us all the history of the major turistic points that helped us to understand the environment where we were in !! Just Perfect. Recommend it !

Spend a great day in Pisa and Florence

Great tour and guide; picked us up promptly and drove us safely through small villages in Pisa seeing much more than just the Tower; so charming! Went to top of the hill to Piazza Michelangelo where we saw one of the copies of "David" and to oversee all of Florence where we took some great pictures; off to Florence and we were handed a small very readable map of the major sights to see; we had sufficient time for lunch, sight seeing and shopping; added on a wine tasting (at no additional cost to us). It started to rain and our driver pulled the car to the front door of the wine shop so we didn't have to walk in the rain (no tour bus will do that for you). Then it was off to the best real gelato shop, not mass produced rather "home made" by the 75 year old owner. Made friends along the way as our conversations during the ride were thought provoking. We go back to the NCL Pearl with no worries and lots of amazing memories. Take this tour for a guaranteed good time.
