A great way to spend a day on our holiday. Relaxed and a great guide. Dave shared info about Traditional use of the land and language of the local Peoples, thanks Dave for taking the time to pay respect to the true Custodians. Food was okay, nothing to write home about but well planned and organized day.

We travelled by car to NOOSA Habitat as we were staying at Atlantis Resort Marcoola,NOOSA Habitat collects guests from NOOSA Heads . The resort is on National Park land is both Camping , Caravaning , and Glamping as well as a small conference location . The tour guide was Gary who knowledge was very good and he made the visit interesting and safe. We travelled on 40 seater Aluminium boat across the the Lake and into the headwaters of the Noosa River , as far as Harry’s Hut. Some visitors elected to canoe whilst others remained on the boat . We returned to the resort and enjoyed a late lunch of Roast Port a couple micro brewery bees and Sav Blancs, beautiful location 2 hours north of BRISBANE.

It was a pleasant and educational experience to learn about the history and the ecology of the area.

Although the bus was Ate picking us up once on board we were able to relax and enjoy the journey. We found each step along the way was explained clearly and we were well cared for we loved the whole experience.. Also the food was excellent as well.

Tour was just fantastic, amazing way to see nature, lake river. Also, can do a short walk and explore more on foot. Lunch included.

Every other seat on the cruise had bird droppings, and at one point we were dropped off at a place where we were swarmed with mosquitoes (no amount of insect repellent would work). The cruise was relaxing, however we didn’t manage to see a lot of wildlife. Overall I don’t find the experience to be worth the price we paid for, however to be fair, it might be worth it if you try canoeing (which I skipped as I can’t swim).

Had a fantastic day with NEWC, morning tea at Harry’s Hut was yummy and so was lunch. The guide was insightful, informative and entertaining. Well worth visiting and would love to go again!

A relaxing day out with an excellent barbecue lunch offering a choice of fish or steak. We really enjoyed the trip through the Everglades following the younger members of our party as they canoed their way to our lunch stop. A well organised trip which I can thoroughly recommend.
