Hidden mansion gem

Fairytale castles & delicious wine | gen 2020
Knowledgeable and accommodating guide. Second castle is a restored old mansion owned by the only female professor of biology at the University of Zagreb in the seventies. Her house has an extensive collection of Croatian artists from the 1940s on. Winery gave us 7 wonderful wines to try.

A Great and Wonderful Tour

The Dionysus Tour Lunch or dinner and Wine Tasting at Plesivica | ott 2019
This tour was great and wonderful. My family and I did absolutely love it. Firstly, our driver and guide, Ned, made this tour what it was, great, wonderful and so special. Ned is a typical Croatian Zagrepčanin, he is so friendly and kind, and an absolute pleasure to be with. He was also very personable. And he was very passionate and informative about all that he presented to us. Then there was the winery. The owner of the winery, Robert, also made this tour what it was, great, wonderful and so special. Robert was also so friendly and kind, very personable, very passionate and informative about his wines, and an absolute pleasure to be with. We did love his winery and his wines very much, and his great and charming personality, and would certainly come back so happily in the future. Then Ned took us to have lunch in a restaurant at the top of a mountain, overlooking a grand valley, and it was fantastic. The sight of the valley was really, absolutely spectacular, and the food of the restaurant was local and so delicious. What more could one ask for. And lastly, to end the wonderful day, Ned took us for cake and coffee in a little, cute and very charming town, before our way back to Zagreb. It was absolutely a great and wonderful day and experience. We did love it so much. And we would certainly do it again so happily in the future. And we would recommend this tour to all. “Ned and Robert, we thank you so much for this great and wonderful day, experience and memory that you gave us.” — Louis R. and family.

We congratulate Viator for having Neno, our guide as part of their team. He was extremely helpful, instructive and caring for our well being during this journey which encounters a lot of patience to deal with the challenges ahead to fulfill our quest. Long lines and a lot of walking, all worthwhile. Such a marvelous experience. The waterfalls with clear water and the color of the lakes Beautiful!

Private 8-Hour Plitvice Lakes Tour from Zagreb | lug 2019
Had a wonderful day in Plitvice thanks to Viator and my excellent guide, Igor. They were very flexible in starting earlier than normal and adjusting the tour so I could make a late afternoon appointment back in Zagreb. Igor is a fantastic guide – so passionate about the natural beauty of his country and very knowledgeable about the lakes. And he was fun to get to know and spend the day with! Another Viator win!

Great Day Trip

Private 8-Hour Plitvice Lakes Tour from Zagreb | giu 2019
A beautiful park well worth visiting. Along the drive our guide pointed out scars remaining on buildings from the Homeland War in the 1990's, and we stopped to enjoy the beautiful village of Rastoke. Once we arrived at the park we enjoyed walking along the beautiful lakes and waterfalls. We highly recommend a trip to Plitvice Lakes if you are visiting Croatia.

3 days in Zagreb: Plitvice lakes, Slovenia and Zagreb BIG tour | giu 2019
The highlight of our trip was this 3-days private tour at the end of May. Wherever we went got the best panoramic pictures! Punctual, Knowledgeable and personable tour guides, full of information, and very well rounded, always responsive to our questions. We learned lots about the former Yugoslavian countries. We had Nenad for 2 days and Harry for Plitvice lakes. The Zagreb tour was comprehensive, old city, new Zagreb, the famous cemetery that houses people from all religions, cathedral, the stone gate, boulevards to walk and dine, etc. Our day in Slovenia was great. The Bled castle glacier lagoon was a treat to the eyes and the Bled cream cake was delicious. The agency was very flexible and planned the outings according to the weather conditions. Pllitvice’s national park with its 16 cascading lakes is a must to see, naturally spectacular with countless falls, we did the lower and upper lakes and the ferry. Could not stop taking pictures and videos. We recommend the Zico private tours, comfortable, spacious and clean vehicles with pleasant and knowledgeable tour guides. Thank you so much Nenad and Harry, you made our trip much better. We will come back with the family. Hvala!

The Best of Slovenia, Bled lake, Postojna cave and Ljubljana | mag 2019
Amazing day. 2hr drive from Zagreb wasn't boring as the scenery beautiful. Our guide was talkative and funny. Bled Castle and the lake are magical. You must try the cream cake while at the castle. Yummy. Lovely Bee products and quality souvenir. Ljubljana was picture perfect. Bridges, gardens, greenery, chocolate and schnapps shops. You must try. The buildings are so colourful. Postjonya caves. WOW. OMG! Incredible train journey into the cave then walking around for an hour then train to the surface. Unbelievable. It was a big day but very satisfying. A must do.

Very well kept with beautiful scenery just be cautious if you are going with kids as not every part is fenced. This place is truly amazing and try to stop in Rastoke before it is a charming little paradise.
