Hon Ga Choi Island, Vietnam

The basics

Halong Bay contains around 2,000 small islands. Hon Ga Choi Island is actually two of these, jagged 39-foot (12-meter) limestone rocks rising from the water. Many cruises in Halong Bay pass them, as they’re one of the most famous landmarks in the bay. Many travelers visit Halong Bay on a cruise, either from Hanoi or while based in smaller nearby towns. Some of these include kayaking, which is a good way to get a closer view of Hon Ga Choi Island.
