Avventura di trekking alle cascate La Chorrera ed El Chiflón da Bogotá

I enjoyed getting out of the city and experiencing this hike. The park is beautiful. The actual activity was a bit tougher than I expected - would definitely recommend good hiking shoes with grips, and ensure you are up for lots of steep inclines and rocks.This attraction had less commentary about history, etc. It was mainly focused on the walk and being in nature.

Wow what an experience, spending 6 hours one on one with my guide Felipe, travelling from Bogota to La chorrerra and back.The driver was great, the conversation was fascinating, the weather was... so so! Hiking up to La Chorerra was quite touch, the altitude and steep climbs made it a bit more than a medium challenge I would say.The waterfall itself was magnificent and then lunch looking over El Chiffron was a great way to finish.

Emilio was a fantastic guide and we had a wonderful hike and lunch.

Would love to go on another tour with him and Viator!

We did the day hike to La Chorrera Falls and it was a outstanding day in Colombia, our guide Andres was outstanding and he took the time to provide details of Colombia on the way to the hike, During the hiking experience he described all the flowers, trees and shrubs along the path and what the locals used them for as well as describing the wildlife along the trail. Breakfast and lunch was provided and was great, highly recommend this hike while your in Colombia.

The views were amazing and the hike out was fun. That being said, the trail is very slippery, so if you are not prepared to fall, then don't go none of us slipped, but we saw others that did. We were picked up from our hotel and on our way to the falls we were offered some local cuisine, but had a big breakfast so only a taste. After the hike, we had a quick snack and then were treated to a nice meal back in Bogota. It can be cloudy, so be patient and wait for a view of the falls. Lots of great pictures and memories would do it again.

What a terrific day. An energetic hike to the waterfall but I was in good hands with my guide and driver.Guide was informed and very friendly. Both myself and the driver slipped in parts and ended up with very muddy jeans and filthy hands but it's part of the experience. Couldn't recommend this tour enough.
