It was great experience, very well organized ! Our tour guide was real proffesional. We spent there 3 beautifull days. If you want to see real wildlife not captured animals in cages go there and support them - they do it how it should be - let the animals live their lifes and only watch them. The lodge itself is very nice equipet and designed, bungalows are very comfortable. I loved the food from their kitchen - they are able to prepare also vegetarion options - which was great.

This was a nice excursion but the accomadations were very rough. Yes, I know I am in the Amazon, but for the money I paid I would think it would be a bit nicer. The electricity did not work in my bathroom due to a short. There were tears in my screens in my room and the front door did not shut all of the way. So every morning there were bugs. They could use some money to spruce up the main lodge area as it is not inviting and the bar is lifeless. If they added more candles it would help so much. The food was very good and staff was very pleasant The manager Leon was visable, but did not do anything or interact with me or the other guest.

The staff at the Curassow Lodge was amazing and made the trip special for us. The time we spent in the amazing was well worth the time it took to get to the reserve. The people were all very nice and it was a nice chance of pace to be disconnected from reality/technology for a few days.
