A mesmerizing experience !

This day trip was absolutely wonderful. A lot to learn and see. Tour guide Fernando was great. Very knowledgeable and accommodating.
Small, intimate, great information!

Thanks fernando! I really appreciated your guided tour to both sights! The group was small and intimate so as a solo traveler I was able to meet others on the trip. As for the information, its was so great to learn so much! My recommendation is to spend more time at the pyramids. We were only able to go to the top of the pyramid of the sun and did not go near the pyramid of the moon (it was a bummer!). Maybe, I would recommend skipping so many souvenir shopping, we visited 3.
Excellent guide

Thanks Luis for a wonderful, insightful day. I learned so much. Nice to be in a small group of three
Fun visit to awe-inspiring site
, giu 2019
This was a very well-organized and enjoyable tour consisting of 11 tourists from four countries and a local young woman guide, Anna, aboard a small bus. We visited a half-dozen places on a trip of about 8 hours, most notably the utterly fabulous Teotihuacan Pyramids and the small museum nearby. Anna did an excellent job of providing useful information while also giving us lots of latitude and free time. Very nice lunch included. For some reason this group really jelled and I will long remember how nice and interesting everyone was. Good job, Anna!
This is not an english tour
, giu 2019
It was meant to be an english tour, but the tour guide seemed surprised. So instead of an informed presentation, I received short, irrelevant information spurts. Luckily some of the other customers told me some of the more important and relevant information. We spent too long a "Silver craft market" (shop) and some sort of craft farm. We then rushed the interesting parts. I think it would be an interesting tour if you understand spanish. But I booked an english tour for this reason, and instead I gained more from googling during the tour.
Shrine of Guadalupe and Teotihuacan Pyramids (by Olympus Tours)
, mag 2019
Our highlight of this tour in Mexico City was going to be the Guadalupe Shrine - we travelled from Canada for this. We were so disappointed. We spent more time at the Pyramids and the shop-stop at the Silver and Distillery outlets - waste of time as no one seem interested in spending money here. We arrived at the Shrine at 5.50pm, by then the old Basilica was closed at 6pm. We were rushed through the new modern Basilica to take a quick view of the Tilma - no time for souvenir shopping or to view the beautiful landscape around or just walk around and take in the surroundings, which we believe are beautiful. We were very disappointed with our first experience in Mexico City and with Viator/Tripadvisor. We have used Viator or tripadvisor in Europe before
Decent service to see some important Mexican landmarks
, mag 2019
This was our first time in Mexico City so seeing Teotihuacan was a must! Olympus Tour's pickup was very prompt and easy to book. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly and patient with some members of our tour who kept wandering away. The only drawback was that the information he provided us about the history of the place was a bit scattered. It made it feel more like a shuttle service than a full guided tour. But for those who just want to visit two big sites in a convenient one-day trip, this works.
Pyramids and Shrine
, mag 2019
Anna, our guide, was a delight and the experience was quite pleasant. We were lucky with the weather being in the lower 80s and overcast. We began at the shrine where we went inside for an informed overview and then on to the church and chapel. Then to the pyramids with two hours on our own to investigate. Afterwards we went to eat; I would not suggest including the meal which was rather dry and tasteless - maybe better to order from the menu. Our guide kept us informed throughout the trip in an entertaining manner. We were six English speaking passengers; so, the trip was all in English which made it even more enjoyable.

Absolutely amazing tour. We really enjoyed all of it. The restaurant wasn't great but it was still worth it.
It was useful having a tour guide give...

It was useful having a tour guide give us a lot of context about the pyramids during the drive from Mexico City. Because of this, once we got there we were able to have personal time at the pyramids. We had about 2 hours alone which I felt was sufficient. In this regard I thought the tour was great. However, there were other stops I wasn't thrilled about. We stopped at the Plaza de las Tres Culturas and a silversmith shop in the morning. The Plaza was a surprise and I found it interesting. It was worth the 10 minute stop. The silversmith shop was cool for about 10 minutes, but we were required to stay and shop for much longer. After the pyramids we went on a tour of a craftsman's workshop and got to try samples of pulque and tequila. That part of was really interesting, but once again we were stuck just sitting in the gift shop waiting to leave afterwards. Next they drove us to a restaurant that had a buffet. The restaurant was only for tour groups no locals and the food wasn't very good. In fact, I'm pretty sure it made me sick as well as a friend of mine a month prior who went to the same restaurant. It also had a gift shop and we were stuck sitting there for a long time as well. All in all, the pyramids were great as well as the Shrine of Guadalupe, but I found the tourist stops along the way to be annoying.
