The driver interrogated us my teenage son and me immediately upon entering the car and demanded that I am required to pay for all toll expenses and a large tip to him as soon as possible. I was extremely stressed and annoyed why the driver kept asking me to pay him immediately the required tip and toll. Several times he asked me if I have cash and that I can pay him now. He also asked my teenage son to give him cash.
The car was poorly clean and there was no AC working during hot summer.
Upon arrival to the Laguardia Airport the driver demanded that I pay him 40 USD for toll and 60 in tip. I was extremely dissatisfied and threatened that I went to the police immediately to clear out what was going on. The police helped me and resolved the issue.
I will strongly warn every one about this. I will never recommend this company to anyone as my son and I felt so discord.

They did not come to pick us up at Kennedy airport

We arrived at JFK, collected our luggage and then called the company when on the curb. Three reps hung up on us, the fourth then said the car was there - the driver was in the middle zone he made no effort to locate us. The company never said to find him in the middle zone. He quickly delivered us to the Newark Airport - at one time driving 65 in a 40 zone. The tolls were in addition to the 100 fare - an extra 35. I'd look for a more reliable, responsive company.

Good ride, only problem Not with car or driver is that the airport was under construction so we had to take a bus to a different desitnation then find our ride. So not the problem of the car or driver.

Hi, I was very disappointed that when we walked out of the Airport hoping to find a Viator Driver waiting for us, no one was there, we walked up

After traveling for MANY hours, having our driver, Raj, show up on time was a welcome relief. He was a good driver who got us to our next destination quickly. I was informed before making the reservation that I would be responsible for any tolls. However, I thought 35 was a little excessive for a bridge toll and short 5 minutes on the NJ Turnpike.... and he wanted that in cash up front. Then he kept reminding us about his tip....numerous times. My husband finally told him he would get his tip after the trip was over. I would use Carmel Limo again, but get pricing information made clear and hopefully be able to print out as proof.

As instructed per my reservation confirmation, I telephoned the number provided after I picked up my baggage. The representative who answered the phone was not polite and requested my telephone number. He told me there was no reservation under my telephone number. I pulled out my confirmation number and he began reprimanding me for having a different telephone number which I didn't. He finally told me where to wait for my driver and he would be there in 5 - 7 minutes. 20 minutes later I telephoned again and was transferred to several people. A gentleman got on the phone and asked me what terminal I arrived in. After traveling for many hours, I had no idea. I had given them my airline and flight number when I booked my reservation. He looked it up and told me what terminal I was in who cares and said my driver would be there within 10 minutes. It was frustrating. I had paid a handsome sum for this service, given them all my information, etc. I think it should have gone smoother. The driver was pleasant and the rest of the trip was uneventful.

We traveled from Newark to JFK to catch a connecting flight. The car service and driver were excellent however, this is a journey you should avoid if you can. The traffic is heavy which we were forewarned about by another review and the journey time was approximately one hour and 20 minutes which could easily have been longer but for the quality of our driver. I would definitely use this car service again.

Eu e minha colega contratamos o traslado de La Guardia até JFK. Liguei para o numero 66 e expliquei onde estávamos na saída do terminal C na American Airlines. Esperei por mais de 15 minutos e como não apareceu ninguém para nos buscar, entrei de novo e liguei pedindo assistência. Me informaram que o motorista havia ido ao Pickup 3 e não havia me encontrado, porém o combinado era no Pickup 5. Me pediram então para aguardar no Pickup 3 e em 5 minutos chegou o motorista. Este assim que entrou no carro, gritou comigo e minha colega perguntando se pagaríamos a gorjeta por cartão de credito ou cash. Em princípio não entendemos o que estava acontecendo e aí então ele gritou ainda mais dizendo que tínhamos que pagar a gorjeta e que ele queria saber como íamos pagar. Ao questionar que não estávamos entendendo aquela pergunta e que não sabíamos da obrigação de pagar a gorjeta, ele respondeu de forma muito mal educada, grosseira que era nossa obrigação pagar e durante toda a viagem nos ignorou e nos colocou em uma situação de desconforto e até medo. Ficamos inseguras se realmente nos levaria ao destino e passamos por momentos de total desconforto. Contratamos um serviço privado para ter um tratamento diferenciado e seguro e não para sermos agredidas verbalmente pelo motorista. Ao chegarmos ao aeroporto lhe paguei 6 dólares de gorjeta somente pelo fato de que temia a sua reação, caso não pagasse. Não pretendo usar este serviço novamente e seguem os dados do motorista que em minha opinião jamais deveria estar fazendo esse serviço pela Viator/Carmel. Estou muito chateada com o ocorrido e o valor gasto por um serviço tão ruim que pôs em risco nossa segurança tendo sido assediadas moralmente pelo motorista.
