Tour overall was excellent, and I would recommend it to others. It would be difficult to view all the included sights without the guided tour. The presence of an overall guide on each leg, supplemented by a local guide was uniformly excellent. I had expected the tour to be together for the 10-day tour, but there were group changes until the Sicily portion. The Sicily portion was a large group and bilingual, which was hard for both clients and the guide. Hotels were good to excellent. Meals also were generally excellent, except for a few in Sicily.
GOOD TOUR FOR THE MONEY. BE AWARE IT IS A MULTILINGUAL TOUR. WE DID PAY FOR 4 STAR HOTELS AND ONLY HAD ONE DIFFERENT HOTEL FROM THE REST OF THE GROUP THAT ONLY PAID FOR 3 STAR. DID NOT KNOW POSITANO AND AMALFI WAS AVAILABLE AS AN INDEPENDENT SIDE TRIP ONE DAY, WOULD HAVE DONE THIS VS. HAVING PAID FOR PRIVATE TOUR OF THESE AREAS PRIOR TO START OF THIS TOUR. VISIT TO CHEFALU SHOULD BE CONSIDERED TO BE PART OF TOUR RATHER THAN OPTIONAL EXCURSION THAT IS PRESENTED TO YOU ONLY ONE DAY PRIOR AND WITH NEE FOR 15 PARTICIPANTS IN ORDER TO VISIT CHEFALU.
