Amazing I almost quit because I didn't know if I had the stamina to complete it but the tour guide and my fellow travelers coaxed me along and it was so well worth it.

Our guide was not informative or interesting at all and would not wait for the people in the back to catch up. Wish I could remember his name but it appears that other guides were better. The road is rough but not impossible.

pretty arduous and the lunch was awful. But I'm glad I did it. The guide was very nice.

What a great trip - from Donostia to Pasai Donibane! Vigorous hike with our Great Guide Oihana. We had a great time - ending with some delicious pintxos and plenty of Txakoli. Totally recommend this excursion - and ask for Oihana...she was a tremendous guide.

Amazing tour! Ouihana was a fantastic guide and was kind enough to run the tour, even though I was the only client signed up on that day. It was a wonderful way to get in shape, bask in the outdoors, and getting the tastes of a local.

We did the Half-Day Way of St James Hiking Tour along a section of the Camino Santiago from San Sebastián in early Sept. Oihana was our bright bubbly guide who, during the walk, gave us a wealth of information about the Basque people, their history, culture and language.
The walk is easy to manage for a person of reasonable fitness and varies from steps, to hilly track through the forest and along the coast. The views are spectacular. The end point is the small harbour town, Trintxerpe, A short ferry ride takes you to a bodega with lunch and wine included.
The return journey, only 15 mins, was by local bus and you could alight at any stop convenient to your hotel.

Oihana ensured that all the participants, 8 in this case, were made to feel welcome and included in the conversations . She offered additional formation about places to visit and where to eat in San Sebastián. She followed up with an email giving all this information in writing.

If you enjoy walking, and want to develop your understanding of all aspects of Basque life, and meet a friendly local like Oihana, then this trip is for you.

Our guide was fantastic, the scenery stunning, the food delicious. Do not hesitate. Book this tour!

But only if you are in decent shape. There are some steep hills and a lot of steps.

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Unfortunately the day started with rainy, cool weather but that did not dampen our spirits which were buoyed on by our leader, Oihana. She was a relaxed, informative guide whose obvious familiarity with this walk and all Basque matters made for a fascinating morning.

A great walking tour with our very knowledgable guide Ainhoa. If your looking for something different to do while in San Sebastián then this is for you. To be able to say you have walked a small portion of the El Camino is impressive and this tour was very impressive.
Ainhoa told us about Spanish and Basque history, culture, language, food and explained about the El Camino as we navigated our way along the 9 km track, and the views were outstanding. Then to finish we caught a small boat from San Pedro to San Juan where we had a pintxo lunch with a local wine before heading back to San Sebastion on a local bus. The walk was a little challenging in parts but was made easier with Ainhoa's encouragement and guidance. Highly recommend.
