Overall Very Satisfied with tour but not happy with services of Tour Guide Shaun
In-Depth: Niagara Falls, Philadelphia, Boston, D.C. & NYC Tour from New York | gen 2020
Our family is sooo happy with the 7 Day NY tour we got from Viator. So happy cause we were able to see all nice tourist spots in the East Coast and we were able to do this hassle free because everything was taken cared of from the Mercedes Benz Bus that toured us comfortably, to the Best hotels they checked us in. Except for the Howard Johnson Hotel on the 1st day AT NYC which was low rated as compared to the other hotels like Holiday Inn, RIdisson etc. It was a fruitful tour. We learned a lot from this tour and visited a lot of Key Places in the East Coast which is very important to us. A very memorable trip to us.
We give EXCELLENT rating to the service and Assistance our 1st Tour Guide "Sammy". He as very efficient, Informative,helpful and accomodating and very well knowledgeable with the tour spots he brought us to.. Hope it get's to Management that we are very satisfied with his services.
As with regards to our 2nd Tour Guide " SHAUN'' who brought us to Boston, Niagara falls etc.
i am not happy with his services. I would like to report that He was driving so fast, so recklessly that I Feared for the life and safety of our family. I was not able to sleep in the bus on the 2nd to the last day and last day cause i was praying very hard to keep us safe. He is always in a hurry. Maybe he was tired and would like to finish the tour early which really happend on the last day. He brought us the the JFK airport at 3 pm instead of 7 PM.
Then there was a point at our tour where i was last to get in the bus cause I went for a very quick Toilet break. As quick as jut 6 mins. I just couldnt hold my Urinary bladder. He even told my husband " We are 6 minutes late and on the next stop He will not give us a Toilet break bec i was late 6 minutes". Isn't that RUDE?? . He should be helpful to us tourists. He should give good service and take care of the needs of his tourists. First time i encountered a tour guide that is not accomodating to the tourists. We are not happy with his services.
Another bad attiutude of Tour Guide Shaun,is that he told all of us on the 2nd to the last night That if we are happy with his services, We should give him Extra TIP. He was telling all of us directly. He said that what we paid for in this tour will all go to company and that he will only depend on the Extra TIP. We had No choice but to give him extra TIP. We already gave him the Mandatory $10 tip per person per day but he asked for more. I don't think that's a proper attitude. He should have let us give him without him asking for it.
I hope your accompany can do something about the attitude of Tour guide Sammy. It doesnt have a good reflection on your Tour company.
Our 1st Tour Guide Sammy didnt ask for anything more and we admire him for that. i will give Tour Guide Sammy an Excellent Rating for his Efficient Service.
Overall, We are satisfied and happy with our tour, hotels etc. except for services of Tour Guide Shaun.
