My husband and I had the best time with Rock our guide. He was very personable and went above and beyond during the tour. Telling us the history of the island and showing us all the landmarks and taking as many pictures as we wanted. Rock was the best. Highlight of our trip! This is a must do
We recently visited Aruba and took the private horseback ride and island tour. It was awesome! The horses were so gentle and Rock, our guide, was born and raised in Aruba, so he had a lot of knowledge and entertaining facts to share. When we returned to the ranch, we were greeted by an 8 week old baby horse. So precious. We would recommend this trip for all ages. One of the highlights or our trip.
The ride was great. We are family of four, picked up by Sue at the cruise ship terminal. (Make sure you walk out to the front of the main gate). From there, she drove us to the ranch to start our horse back ridings and lessons.
The tour was private, there was just 4 of us plus Rock, our tour guide. He was very patient and accommodating. He walked along with us all the way while we were riding on the horses. He never rushed and always quick to point out facts and history. He treated us like we were special friends and often offered to take our photo and video. Really made us feel welcomed.
It was an excellent tour. Lasted roughly 3 hours from the time Sue picked us up to the time she dropped us off at the terminal. She even offered to drop us off at Eagle Beach! Thank you Sue and Rock.
When we arrived the place was closed. A security guide from a hotel was sleeping in the house. Told that the scheduled tour guide fdidn't show got too drunk the night before. He was very nice person and saddled our horses and took us for a tour but he couldn't ride. So we went on a horseback tour with a walking guide. Never saw the beach as described. Complete rip off. Told the owner was out of the country.
Transport to and from the hotel wa fine.
The experience was like no other never been on horse it was great the disappointment was the fact they need to watch how they word this tour because it says you'll see wildlife which we saw absolutely none, NEVER SAW ISLAND IN a air conditioned vehicle, never went to the Baby Natural Bridge, the lighthouse or the Gold Mine or chapel. The horses were great very gentle and are tour guide was very helpful getting me up and down from the horse. We did ride along the shoreline which was nice. If it wasn't for the gentleness of the horse I would probably give this a 2 star
