We spent one day there on March 13, 2019 which was March Break for Canadians. We had come off a cruise for the day. The resort was very busy and not much space between yourself and your neighbor. The drinks were great as was the food, Lovely beach, but crowded. We walked 3 minutes up the beach and found a completely empty stretch of sand from where we swam in the sea.
Lots of things to do if you want, e.g. diving, snorkeling, boat trips, parasailing, shopping, massages, two pools with swim-up bars.
We had a party of 16 and everyone had a fantastic time. You have to grab a taxi from the port but they are regulated so no haggling needed. There are lockers available and nice bathrooms. The resort has a very nice swim up bar with swings and bar stools in the water. The bartenders were fantastic as well as our server. The food was very good off the menu and the buffet was available as well. This was worth the money especially if you like cocktails. I highly recommend this place.
We loved the location and the food and service was great. My girls loved the inflatables and the drinks were also good. The only thing I didn't like was that it was supposed to close at 5 or 5:30 that day and at 4 they had already closed up the buffet and grill and we wanted an afternoon snack before leaving and wasn't able to do so. We had been there about 4 hours after lunch. The also started cleaning everything then and pretty much felt closed at 4:30.
