Charlotte was an excellent guide: fluent in history and Harry Potter. We were very lucky. The group included three Scottish couples visiting the city for the day, and another tour guide from Ireland. We had lots of knowledgeable people to instruct us. The food samples were all quite nice. The walk was spaced just right.
Valuable lesson--don't do this tour on your last day in the city. No time to revisit. Fortunately, Charlotte sent us an email, so we know where to visit when we return.
Great food tour of Edinburgh. Emma was friendly and informative. Enjoyed the haggis dish! Good-size servings and all the restaurants were located close together. Emma also shared Edinburgh sites and history along the way.
I make it a point to take food tours wherever I am both at home and abroad and this one was great. Our guide was funny, knowledgeable, and organized. We sampled food and drinks at 6 stops as well stopping along the way at important places. Keeping the group to 10 was a good idea and the mixture of European, Asian, and American tourists made it an interesting group.
This food tour was fantastic. Our guide David was wonderful and took us to a variety of places where we sampled lots of different foods from soup, "secret" food, cheese, fudge, whisky and much more. Walked through Old Town and learned a bit of the history. Worth taking. Definitely don't eat before you go as you get tons of good food.
