My Mum and me thoroughly enjoyed our walk ably directed with tour guide Daniel .
I admired how he could relay all the facts. It’s a great way to connect with Glasgow’s past.
I was very touched when St Mungo’s story was told and made me proud to be a Glaswegian with this dear green place being the holy place St Mungo prayed to find and be directed to. So many inspiring facts. We visited the Provand Lordships house built in the 1100’s, Glasgow Cathedral both medieval and found within the old town. A visit to the Necropolis, the city of the dead was next followed by a free refreshing beer in the Tenents brewery hub at the beginning of the brewery. I would highly recommend this walking experience.
