My wife and I are in our 50s and do not ride motorbikes at home so it was a bit of adventure for us to take this tour. We were not disappointed. The student drivers were genuine in their manner and naturally pleasant.Their driving was safe and we never felt any real discomfort despite the squall at the beginning of the tour. The food was all very nicely tasting - a welcome respite from the expensive but non genuine tasting meals we had chosen for ourself otherwise.
This is a really good and informative tour. It was our first time in Vietnam and we wanted to enjoy all aspects of the country. We had heard such good things about the street food experience in Hanoi from friends etc. We did the tour on the first night we arrived, so that we could get the confidence to try more during the holiday - a good move. Our guide Belle first class guide was waiting for us in reception of our hotel, she was on time and her English was really good. She took us around 4 different places, where we tried various savoury dishes, desserts and ending with the famous Hanoi 'egg coffee'. A great tour, great guide - highly recommended !!
A little disappointed as I had read reviews and people rated high. It was great meeting people on our tour however we were expecting to be told a little about the place and where we ate and why.
We found exploring ourselves that we came across some great places to eat. You also have trip advisor that can guide you on where to eat.
if your stay in Hanoi is short would recommend.
3 stops of various different foods! Our guide was very sweet and personable, we asked her many questions, and she really took care of us. and taught us how to cross the streets, no easy thing in Hanoi on a Saturday night
There is quite a bit of walking in this and a ton of food! You will leave stuffed. Delicious and amazing!
