Do not miss out on going to the Cao Dai Temple and Cu Chi Tunnels they are worth sightseeing, but you can skip this travel agency, it takes the prize for worst tourguide ever! The tourguide's language was out of line. Would just wander off and we would have to pick him up somewhere else.
We were surprised when we had to wait For another bus to continue the second part of the trip. We were even more surprised when on our return journey the guide did not come along and we were unable to communicate with the bus diver who dropped us at a place we were not familiar and had to find our way back to the hotel.
The tour as a tour is well structured and worth the money but the company need to hire a tour guide who speaks English and professional and not a college kid !! May be you should look for another tour company !!
Private is the only way to go. Comfortable car and at your own pace makes it so much more enjoyable. Also, I was able to crawl through 2 of the tunnels Crazy experience when the people in the groups look like they did not have that option. I also shot the M30! Our guide was also great.
This tour was amazing! An adventure all in one day. Highly recommend. Couldnt get a better tourguide Johnny,, great fun!
We had an ok day. They came to pick us up at the hotel and the guide was bilingual as indicated. We were expecting not to see much of the market considering the arrival time, and it's what happened. We saw some boats with their products to sell but no buyers around. But it was a very nice trip anyway. But it you're only interested by the floating market, we would recommend you to take an hotel in the Delta for one night and to take a tour that would bring you there very early to see the action.
We then stopped in a factory where we saw how the coconut candy are made and how rice paper is produced.
After lunch, a very generous one, we jumped in a small row boat, 2 by 2. The rower, a traditional one, brought us through a small canal. It was a unique experience.
Finally, the guide brought us to a market across the river for 5 min from which we walked back to the bus......There was no bike ride in the local village as mentioned in the package.
So, a unique experience......but that could have been much better.
We were taken on a different tour to the one we booked, with no prior warning. It wasn't made clear prior to booking that our tour would be with a third party tour operator. Our pick up details were not confirmed, which meant that we had to contact the local host personally, who wasn't expecting us, and try to sort out arrangements for pick up and drop off.
No correct desciption. Tours says Floating Market and never saw the floating market. a lot of explination why we didn't saw it but it is not correct. Losing a whole day for nothing.
It was a lovely trip. We went to a village and saw how rice paper and rice popcorn was made. We then strolled through the orchard to see all the fruits. Lunch was a lot and really good. They made special vegetarian dishes for us. The guide was amazing! It was cool to see the Mekong as how they live.
