, 6 2019
Greetings from Malaysia! Our trip on our second day in Tasmania was special with memorable visits to Mt.Field and Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary. Kudos to our knowledgeable and friendly guide Simon who made sure our trip was fun-filled and special!
Perfect way to see Hobart and its surrounding beauty.

Reversed the order due to the weather conditions. Great to see Hobart from Mount Wellington in the morning, travelled through the Valleys from the Bonorong wildlife Sanctuary which was very interesting especially seeing the Tasmanian Devils👍🤗 and other. Drive included driving past the cherry fields ( and able to purchase exquisite cherries), to Mount Field. Scenery everywhere, exquisite! Dan (?) the driver and guide, superb and very knowledgable.
Had a great experience on the Mt Field National Park day trip. Highlights were definitely the stops at Russell Falls, the Tall Trees and Mount Wellington look out. Our guide did a great job at trying to accommodate some conflicting travel itineraries/flight changes etc and had a great wealth of knowledge. Only recommendation would be looking at a better place to stop to pick up lunch - definitely recommend you pack your own lunch if you have any dietaries as options were limited at the recommended bakery. Otherwise, a great day!
This is a great tour and after the sanctuary stop you feel you just want be dropped off rather than continue to Mt Wellington, but the trip is well worth it. Gorgeous views from the top of Mt. Wellington. Mt. Field with the beautiful waterfalls and giant gum trees was also an incredible experience. Of course our guide Clint added lots to the experience.
