Amazing to see and loved our tour guide. Our family went on a separate day and didn’t have as great of an experience. Their tour guide had a very thick French accent so was very difficult to understand.
This is a must, the history/stories that were told gave a lot of meaning to the tour vs. just walking around looking at the bones without knowing what really happened. Thank you for a great history lesson and a great time.
Yesterday I visited the catacombs of París and I have to say I wished that I met that tour guide earlier to hire him to go around the city and visit all the other places. I have to say he was the highlight of the trip. He made it absolutely fun and interesting. The facts he share and how he share it was great. I strongly recommend him for this and much more.
My kids feel the same and happily for me they enjoy that trip as much as me.

Caroline was a wonderful guide who loves what she does. She was friendly and knowledgeable. We found her commentary very interesting and enjoyed going to the spots that weren't on the regular tour. Also appreciated that she didn't let people not in our tour join us. Small group guided tour is the way to go. Caroline even led us to our metro stop after the tour.
Although it is a bit expensive having someone guide you through the catacombs while explaining the purpose and history helps you understand how and why they were created. The tour also gives you access to portions of the catacombs not allowed by non guided visitors. Our tour ended up being private as we were the only one signed up for that time. The tour lasts about 2.5 to 3 hours. Very interesting and informative great guide. Like I said so worth the money.
I booked a total of 5 different tours at once on Viator and somehow booked the wrong date for this tour (which I 100% take responsibility for). I only realized once I missed a call from the tour agency. I immediately called viator and the tour agency to open the conversation regarding my sisters and my options. Sadly, neither were able to refund or rebook me. I understand that no one was obligated to do anything as this was my fault but I wish either company had been more understanding and empathetic that human error happens. I'm sure it would've been a wonderful tour had we been able to rebook without paying full price again.
