It was a very exciting tour just enough to experience the local atmosphere and the views of Fukagawa. I loved the idea of riding bicycles to look around the town. The bikes were pretty as well. Also the tour course that we could stop by unique and historical workshops was very satisfying. We had a lot of fun having glass processing experience, and the people were so nice. Not to mention, our guide was very friendly and energetic the whole trip. She told us every interesting bits of the town, and even recommended further tour spots that we should drop by. After all, we had great fun!
Great tour at Fukagawa.
The tour guides explained us about the history of Edo and Fukagawa, that I did not know very well although I have lived in Tokyo for more than 10 years. And visiting place to place by bicycle was very comfortable. One of these places is Minoya, a tofu factory, that is more than 100 years old, and the taste of tofu freshly made in the morning was wonderful, with pleasant staff. Another, Fukagawafudodo, the famous Buddhist temple, we looked Gomakito. The fire, voice of sutra recitation, sound of taiko and mokugyo. A vibration created by these powerful and mystical sound taught me deeply. Unforgettable experience, that I could not have without such a nice tour and guides.
