We've done a few photo shoots before so we knew what to expect. The photographer was really lovely and friendly that's why i'm giving the 'tour' at least 2 stars. Firstly, the description is misleading, it's not a tour at all - it's a photo shoot. Most of the photos taken where by trees or on a bench- we could've been anywhere. We were hoping to get more of Kyoto in the background, like a shrine or temple, but the photographer said it wouldn't turn out well. Also the lighting in our shots was pretty unflattering. Out of the hundreds of photos taken we like a couple shots at best so i didn't feel we got our money's worth. So Sorry I hate leaving negative reviews but that was our honest experience.
We had the pleasure of being photographed with Tasseer. He was an excellent tour guide, very knowledgeable both in photography and the history of Japan. We unfortunately got lost a few times getting to our meeting site, but he was so helpful and patiently waiting for us. The photos came out beautiful and I was able to propose to my fiance and have it all captured on his camera. He is extremely skillful and I would recommend anyone needing endless memories captured to book with this group.
