I ordered my activity to take place Oct 26 on Aug 16th. Either Viator or Tour Operator Gray Line Las Vegas ordered it for Aug 26th. When I booked in August I called to confirm my order and was told I was all set. When I arrived in Vegas on Oct 24 I called again to reconfirm and was told again I was all set. After waiting 5 extra minutes I called and was put on hold for 10 minutes. I hung up and call ed again and was put on hold for 15 minutes so I hung up and called again speaking to the same woman who then told me nervously that the booking company had scheduled me for the wrong date on Aug 26. Horrible Horrible customer service and scheduling. DO NOT USE.
This tour was a highlight of our trip! Amazing aerial views of the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam. The Interior tour of Hoover Dam was really interesting. In combination with live commentary and video during bus transfer, a comprehensive social, economic and industrial history of the area was provided. Excellent accommodating and friendly service provided by support personnel over the phone, bus drivers and at Boulder City airport. Highly recommended!
The aerial tour over the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam was amazing! The views were spectacular and we saw so much more than just taking the helicopter ride, which my husband had done before! The 70-minute ride went so fast and our pilot was great! The Hoover Dam interior tour was fabulous. Just to see the inner workings of this dam and understand how this amazing piece of history was built was incredible! If you are claustrophobic you might not like it too much in the elevator, just shut your eyes, and you are out in 10 seconds! This is well worth the money! The lunch, however, was terrible! LOL
As a history and geography geek I was destined to visit the Grand Canyon and Hoover dam during our visit to Las Vegas. We were promptly picked up at our hotel and driven to Boulder where we boarded our 8 seater aircraft. It was a windy day and the pilot warned us it would be a little bumpy, but ride the bumps with me was his advice. Our 80 minute flight was spectacular to say the least. We flew over the dam en route to the canyon, giving us amazing views of one of the wonders of the modern world. All 8 passengers had their own large window, giving us all brilliant views of the canyon. Well worth the money and a MUST SEE when in Vegas. The bus then took us to the Hoover dam. When we arrived we had a video presentation telling us how the dam came about and how it is run today. We then travelled by lift into the heart of the operation which gave us a real insight into the sheer size of the dam. The facts and figures are mind blowing. We were then free to wander around the displays and go outside for pictures. If you have any interest in engineering you will love the Hoover dam. This masterpiece of technical brilliance has been a real success story.
