Beware that this is a self-guided audio tour delievered by the CFC - not a live guide as described. The audio tour is fine, if this is what you are looking for: leaves whenever you like during opening times, detailed audio companion, brings you through both locker rooms, media room, history, etc. However, we were expecting a live guide with Evan Evans and were quite disappointed when we arrived to no tour guide. The phone representative was also not helpful. Save yourself the trouble and book directly with CFC when you arrive, no need to fuss with printing your tickets ahead of time and trying to find a tour company that has no physical presence. Live guided tours are provided only once or twice per day with CFC and cost more than the audio guide.
We have been to Arsenal, FCB, Berlin Olympic Stadium and they all have been existing. Chelsea was two dressing rooms, press room and a view of the field. Terrible. Make it existing to come to Stamford Bridge.
Being from the us and visiting London can’t be complete without a stadium tour. This tour is pretty cool. Highlights walking up the tunnel to the pitch and getting some good shots. The dressing rooms and press room was also cool. Too bad we didn’t have a tour guide instead everyone gets the head set. Easier to give tour in lots of languages but kind of boring without live person. Another downer pitch was covered getting new seed. Too bad. But none the less a cool tour. Compare to arsenal— Chelsea a smaller more homey feel. Arsenal nicer more modern and bigger plus a guide. Arsenal wins!
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the Chelsea Football Stadium. Our tour guide, James, was the best! He did a really good job of making sure that everyone felt welcome, whether they were Chelsea fans or not. Of course, the Chelsea Fans, were treated extra special, but that worked out even better for us. We were visiting London with our family and our oldest son is a HUGE Chelsea Fan. Our son said this tour was the highlight of his visit to London. Thank you, James!
My son is a huge Chelsea FC fan and this was the highlight of his trip! Our tour had about 30 people in it and we were the only Americans! It was GREAT fun to meet people from all over the world and it really goes to show how popular Chelsea FC is world-wide. I highly recommend this tour!
I do not enjoy football,we went for my Two boys but I have to say that the information throughout the tour detailed not only things relating to the present players but also of the clubs past history, with interesting trivia and details on how the building and area around it has changed and adapted as the game has.The guide was very friendly and informative and I think the best parts for my sons were the chance to sit in the Chelsea dressing room and also sit in the seats closest to the pitch.A great day out and about 15ish pounds for a taxi to the grounds from Hammersmith Underground. This was worth it as on the day we arrived at Hammersmith the bus stops were packed!!! and it saves you the hassle of waiting.
