Our guide, Omar, was very personable and knowledgeable. We learned a lot about the Marrakech area along with its culture. He was very observant and took extra care of everyone as we were all moving at different paces. He somehow managed to please everyone which was amazing. He spent time individually with each group to learn a little about them and answer any questions. His photography skills were also great as we will have great photos to help remember our outstanding time on this tour. Shukraan, Merci, Gracias, Mahalo Nui Loa, Arigato, Omar!
Wonderful trip with very nice driver and guide who took such good care of us with true kindness and very good mood. We just had to trust them and discover such beautiful places and people. We enjoyed it so much, it was just great
Although Atlas Mountains are beautiful we had no knowledge of them.
Our guide was very inexperienced and therefor we had nothing explained to us.
We visit these countries and book trips to gain knowledge.
Why do Viator use inexperienced guides at our expense.
All the people on this trip felt the same.
We didn’t even get to the waterfall as we ran out of time.
Also why do some people pay £18 and myself £32 for same trip. ?
I would not use Viator again
Me, my husband and 2 girls 9 and 11 went on this tour with Mohammed Lamajdoub from Targa Travel, which was excellent. We were taken to have the camel ride first, pottery shop, argan oil shop and then berber village which led to a waterfall. Mohammed didnt take us any further due to it being too strenuous for us. The tagine meal included was fab. Mohammed really took into condsideration my 2 young girls and allowed rest stops and plenty of selfie moments. Beautiful scenery, suitable footwear advised and water bottles as well as snacks as long journey there and back. Even though we took a shorter route up the mountains our day was still from 9am-5pm but having air con in the mini van helped. Well worth the money and brilliant experience.
So nice to get away from the city. The market was interesting, we were then met by smiling ladies at the argan cooperative where we had a delicious breakfast (the almond butter was to die for). The drive to the mountains was so scenic with a delicious lunch on a rooftop. Please not the meal is NOT included. There seemed to have caused a lot of confusion at our tour. It is only 75 dirhams! Our guide Omar was great throughout the day, very friendly and helpful. I must however admit the walk was disappointing, it was only about half hour to a small waterfall. I wish to return for a proper trek!
Had a brilliant day on this tour, great value for money as so much was included in this package. Tour guide was super helpful with my grandmother who joined us on tour, making sure she was fine along the way! And was so energised and informative, really made the trip amazing
We were picked up on time directly at our hotel. The driver didn't speak much English and we were often guessing about what the day would include- we kept a positive attitude and were very rewarded. After a stop at an Argan oil cooperative we were dropped off at the foothills of Mt. Toubkal. We set off on a 2 hour hike to a waterfall, rug cooperative, and lunch. The hike was not too difficult and the views were beautiful. Our local guide shared a lot about the villages and Berber culture. We really enjoyed our escape from the big city to spend time in the mountains.
