The montreal pass is definitely worth your money , especially using it for the metro and bus. You have enough attractions that will save you a boat load of cash when using this pass. The only down side is when certain attractions are being repaired / renovated. So make sure you find out which ones are fully open. Another head up, most attractions close early . Might just be a winter/spring thing so just do your research on the hours . Besides that ......... GET YOUR MTL ON!
The Attraction Pass made our trip easy! The pass gave us access to many wonderful things to do and the free use of the Metro made it all easy. The Au Sommet Place Ville Marie 360 degree observation deck was a nice way to start our 3-day tour of Montreal. We'll have to return in the summer for the boat tours. Pass is well worth the price.
This pass is a great deal -- it not only gets you into multiple venues, saving you money, but it also gives you access to the metro and the bus system, making it easy to get around this very walkable city when walking isn't feasible.
I'd recommend this pass to anyone going to Montreal. We saw more in three days than we would have otherwise, and for a lot less money. This pass includes all subway and transit rides as well, which is the best way to get around. The subway system is so easy to use, that you know what you are doing after you've used it once. Plus, there are employees all over the place that assist you if you need it.
1 We were very disappointed with the city travel accommodation. First, there are no bus stop signs on the street to indicate stops and the bus shelters are clear glass, so it is hard to see them. The Metro is indeed clean and fast, however the stops are few and far between. No maps were provided at the pass pick up center, so we spent a third of our time trying to find our way around the city. WAY too much construction going on in the city. 2 The Aura program at Notre Dame Basilica was fascinating, but was only a half hour long...and no message at the end of the program to let the audience know it had ended...everyone sat there for a minute or two, not realizing it was over. It was overpriced for the length of time. 3 The Biodome was very interesting, but again, no signs leading to the other sights like the Botanic Garden, the Insectarium, etc. Would have been nice to have a shuttle bus going to each venue. Nothing at the ticket center at the Biodome indicated that the ticket would be good at the other venues. And...too much construction...we had a hard time deciding which way to go after we left the Metro stop. Viator needs to provide more maps and instruction about how to use the Montreal Pass.
