We really enjoyed the pasta-making class. It was a lot of fun and laughs, and the chef instructor was very good. It was cool to have it in a restaurant setting with a full meal after. Our only complaint was that we were all at 1 long table, and at times it was hard to see/hear what the instructor was doing/saying, but he did make sure to come around multiple times to check on everyone. Overall, it was a good time and very tasty.
Booked for Christmas Eve. Pasta making was fun especially for the kids. Chef was nice and enjoyed the experience. Food in Pasquini Restaurant was adequate. Main course we did not like. It was very busy as time went buy and service lacked since we entered at 5pm till we left at 9pm. Didn't even take the coffee and liqueur as waiters were busy all over and was difficult to get their attention. However on the whole ot was a nice experience and the class was really really fun.
I had a pasta making class last time when I was visiting Rome for a business trip. It was super fun and I learnt a lot about Roman home cooking. So I thought I’d do it again with my husband and parents. I booked last minute so I couldn’t get in the class I took last time and this one is not as good. My parents are visiting Rome from China and They wanted to learn how to make pasta so they can make it at home when they return. It didn’t happen because they didn’t teach you make the sauce at all. I was disappointed. The pasta tasted good but the rest of the course are really average - it’s a meal I wouldn’t voluntarily eat if it didn’t come with the cooking class. It’s more just for fun date nights that kind of thing. Not for people who are seriously interested in local food and home cooking
Excellent change of pace from other tours. Cooking class was perfect in level of difficulty and length of course about an hour. It was cool how they showed you how to cut the pasta and unfirl it into noodles. The best part is you get to eat your pasta and pair it with the sauce of your choice. The class is also a great value when you consider it includes a full dinner. We started with bruchetta, then had our pasta then the second course of saltimbocca and meatballs. We were stuffed! They ended the meal with a nice tirmisu and of course a glass of wine was included from the beginning. I would highly recommend this class as you gain a cooking class and dinner at the same time.
This was also excellent - Loved the teacher. She was so informative and had everyone engaged in the activity. We thoroughly enjoyed. Our pasta was great and salad was awesome. The meal they gave after was just ok. I don't like veal so I would not eat it. Wish they asked what food people like. (dietary issues) Give a vegetarian option.
