Our meeting point for the Colosseum does require a bit of puzzeling as there are two exits to the Colosseum metrostop, but we are glad that you eventually managed to locate Claudio.
Claudio has been a member of our Roma Experience family for quite a while now, and your review confirms to us that the greatness we saw within him gets perceived by customers = )
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us, we are very selective in the group of guides we collaborate with and reviews like yours help us in maintaining collaborations with the right people.
We booked this tour and were incredibly lucky to get Larissa and the fact that it was only us that had booked for the time frame! Her training and knowledge made our time together so much more memorable.
She shared so much history and information plus answered all our inquiries as well. Such a pleasure and will be referring friends for this tour as well.
We would be honored to be recommended by you, and will do our absolute best to provide the same 5-star service to your loved ones!
The Ancient Heart of the aeternal city is truly unique and a well deserved UNESCO World Heritage site. We are very proud of Larissa for sharing her passion and extensive knowledge with you.
We will be sure to forward your positive review to her, and hope you will keep our company in mind for future visits as there are many more beautiful places to be discovered!
This was such an interesting tour - Mary our guide was knowledgeable with a touch of humour - which was great . It does involve a lot of walking over uneven ground so would heed the warnings - would highly recommend and fantastic to be in a group of only 6
Dear Nia B,
Our Colosseum and Ancient Rome experience runs with a maximum of 12 people per guide, but it can ofcourse happen that luck is on your side and the tour is not fully booked!
In that case the tour continues as planned (as we don't require a minimum amount of participants) and is little bit more private, which our guides don't mind as they can go into even more detail.
We are pleased to see you rating the tour 5 stars, the Roman Forum, Palatine Hill and Colosseum truly are one of a kind and not to be missed when visiting Rome.
If you are looking for a short -- 3 hours is plenty on foot -- introduction to Ancient Rome, this is for you. Our guide, Nadia, was knowledgeable and friendly, and clearly has command of archeology in the area. She is passionate about her home and its history, perfect recipe for a successful tour.
Dear Phillip C,
Great to read you have enjoyed yourself discovering the Ancient City with Nadiya!
She is one of our beloved guides here at Rome Experience, and we much appreciate your feedback!
We hope you will consider us for your future visits, and would like to thank you for sharing your experience on touring with us.
Our tour guide was Monica, and our group was only three, so it was easy to hear and ask questions. What she told and showed us about the history, building materials, architecture, workmen, and events and entertainments held at the Colosseum was quite fascinating. Ancient history came alive. The same was true as we toured The Palatine Hill and The Forum. I had studied Latin and Ancient History in high school and Monica’s commentary added a lot of depth to my “book learning!” She’s a real fount of knowledge.
We are over the moon reading your kind review of Monica's tour visiting the Colosseum Roman Forum and Palatine Hill.
We carefully select our licensed guides and are glad she was able to add to your prior knowledge.
We really hope you will cosider Roma Experience for future visits, and thank you once again for taking the time to provide us with feedback.
I ran late for this tour but they very kindly contacted me to see where I was and how fast I could get there. they waited for us and I think it caused a little issue as the tickets are timed. I am very grateful they were so accommodating. we had a great time and I recommend this tour of the colosseum and the forum. our guide was very nice and informative. also it was only 4 of us so it was nice having a small group to get personal attention.
We were impressed with Daniel's insights and information about the Colosseum and Roman Forum. We covered a lot of ground in 3 hours, but it did not seem rushed. Daniel was able to answer any questions we had. Thank you!
Our walking tour 8305P2 covered all the areas promised in Viator's overview. Our guide, a history teacher, spun a verbal tale of Roman life and used the architecture before us as scenery. In some cases she augmented her tale with photos of the buildings as archeologists uncovered them.
The pace of the tour was good. Everyone could keep up with the walking. Adequate time was allowed for photos. Restroom and water fountains were pointed out. Although it was Easter Sunday and the annual Rome Marathon day, our guide led us through ticketing and security lines quickly.
