Despite wet weather and limited visibility, we had a nice day with our tour guide. Our guide was on time and she didn't rush us at the stops. Worth doing this tour if you go to Taiwan. The tour description stated that a lunch was included but we didn't get a lunch.
The entire trip was totally fun, amazing and awesome! William - our Tour Guide is indeed knowledgeable, accommodating and fun to be with. He's so game with the craziness of the team. The most memorable part is when we created our sky lantern in Pingxi. Wrote our wishes and goal and lit and ofcourse say a little prayer. We're are looking forward to our next trip with the help of Viator and hopefully to be guided by William. THANK YOU!
Truly enjoyed this trip with family, A must do Tour especially if it is your first time to Taiwan. It was rainy a rainy and cold day but our local tour guide Nicholas was fantastic. He went out of his way to make sure we were confortable. He prepared umbrellas and even warm pads fo us. Great job!
Nice hikes to 2 waterfalls. Didn't go to the golden waterfall like the site described but the tour guide made up for it by taking us to a beach. Bring your swimming suits and towels. You can swim at the beach and at the first waterfall. If you're into food like I am, Jiu Fen's food and shopping was amazing. We really wanted to go to the Taroko Gorge, but the 9am start time instead of 6am won us over.
We were a family of 7 and had a nice, clean, roomy private van and a nice driver Mr. Liu. Daphne our guide studied abroad in the US so she spoke very good English. Daphne was kind and friendly and spent a lot of time listening and talking to our children. She patiently went on all the sites with us and did everything at our pace. Our 9 and 12 year old daughters loved her. 4 stars for the tour. 5 stars for Daphne. 5 stars for the transport and pace.
