Value for money was not good Guide Alice was fun and knowledgeable.A good social evevning met some lovely people .venues too small and cramped choice of food and wine was poor .Was Expecting a choice of mains meat fish with veg not just pasta which had very little content other than spaghetti and dessert was an ice cream which you had to stand and eat from a gelato bar .
Alicia was, by far, the most enthusiastic guide we had on our 2 week trip. She is steeped in Venice history, and all the eateries we stopped at were enjoyable -- food and wine were tasty and the views of "inner Venice" were quaint. All in all, way better than the typical tourist trap. I woudl definitely do this tour again!
Lots of walking but well worth it. The guide was great, she explained everything in detail and was able to answer all of the questions that my wife and I asked. Eating in the ghetto was not the best meal we had but it it wasn't a culinary tour. The dinner gave us yet another taste of the foods of the area.
We were a group of 5 ages ranging from 77 to 20 and everyone loved this tour. Our guide was amazing, and all the food and wine along the way were as well. We loved seeing a beautiful part of the city that we hadn't been to. Highly recommend.
This was an amazing tour. We ate our way through Venice while we listened to Nikko tell us all about fabulous Venice. He was so knowledgeable. The restaurants gave great portions. We were totally stuffed by the end of the tour.
We loved this. I highly recommend this. We were both interested in Jewish history so this was perfect. Combining it with food was creative. They really took us to hole in the wall type places that locals would know and the food tasting was well worth it. Go hungry as you WILL be eating a lot.
We did this tour on 01July18, it was a fantastic time. Our guide Lucia, was simply great. During the tour we visited 5 great restaurants along with learning about the history of the ghetto. We went back to several of the restaurants later in the week because they were so good. It was one of our favorite activities during our trip to Venice.
