This was a very good tour but a little disorganized as to meeting up with guide. No clear instructions as to who or signage to clearly designate where in square. Then multiple lines formed vs. single file further delaying checkin and picking up earphones. However once that was completed the tour was very good. One other complaint was we were not allowed to tour St. Mark Basilica on our day due to an event. We should have been told ahead of time. Luckily for us we were staying longer in Venice and could go two days later with another group. Others were not so lucky.
Gina did a very good job of touring us through the town while in pain. I wish the group could have been smaller. While we were thankfully provided audio devices, it was somewhat difficult to keep the group of approximately 30 people together through the very crowded city.
My wife and I enjoyed a lovely walking tour followed by the tours of both Doge's Palace and St Marks Basilica, which are both must sees when visiting Venice. The regular lines were extremely long and with this tour we only waited a short time and went right in. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and made the day very enjoyable.
We left our hotel early to be on time for the tour. Unfortunately we followed directions to the meet up place via google but after walking for an hour we never made it there. The streets are not well marked.
The tour was comprehensive and efficient. It included a walk through the streets of Venice, the Doge's Palace, and St. Mark's. We were leaving on a cruise at 4:00 pm that day and were fortunate to have found this tour that fit perfectly in our schedule and included everything we needed to see. The guide was extremely professional, personable, and knowledgeable. Her ability to gauge queue wait time and balance that with the much needed bathroom break was exceptionally orchestrated.
