Our tour guide Katarina picked us up and was perfectly on time. She had organized a small bus for the 13 people.
On the bus, she started to inform us about interesting Serbian facts while going to the monastery. With the right amount of humour, and great 'behind-the-scenes' - stories from her everyday life in Serbia, it was a great start to our three-day visit in Belgrade.
The reservation that she made for us at a Belgrade restaurant was perfect. She really knows her country!
I couldn’t of asked for a better experience ! Nemanja was extremely knowledgeable and spoke perfect English . Not only did we get a beautiful tour but he also shared the rich history of Serbia and the balkans . I highly suggest requesting Nemanja for any of the tours offered!
It was a memorable n enjoyable trip. Thats all because we had two great tour guides, Darko and a girl I forgot her name. They had been responsive n responsible, really made our day. Thanks to them.
The sites that we saw on our tour were very interesting, however our guide admitted that he had only given it one other time...years ago. There were times that we had to wait for HIM to take photos before we could check things out ourselves. He was unable to answer many of our seemingly basic questions. He drove up to 200km/h at times enroute to some places, only to have to stop for a fifteen-minute break at a random gas station/restaurant so he didn't get in trouble at the toll stop for driving too fast. We felt this was unsafe and a waste of time. When we got to the concentration camp he told us that there would be another English speaking guide to explain things. This was not the case. He then told us that there was signage inside the building in English that would help us. Only about ten percent of the signage was actually in English. A friend of mine took this same tour the day before we did with a different guide and had a wonderful, informative experience. I think this would have been an awesome tour with a guide who had more knowledge of the itinerary. Be prepared for quite a hike at Devil's Town! Nis was an interesting city. The concentration camp was sobering and a must-see!
Great insight to the city's past. Our guide was fantastic, very knowledgeable. If you're interested in history, this is for you! Comfy shoes recommended.
We really enjoyed our day out with our guide Marko and fellow travelers. The tour company booked by Viator was very organized. Our guide picked us up on a time at our accommodation. Niš is well worth visiting - we enjoyed the history and sites on the tour. And Devil's Town at the end of the day was quite beautiful.
The trip bit short, guide is good and the wine tasting is good experience, nice lady in the vineyard.
This tour was interesting and our tour guide had excellent knowledge of Belgrade and the surrounding areas. Recommend some comfortable walking shoes.
