I booked this cooking class as a surprise for my husband for his birthday while we were on the coast and couldn’t recommend it more. From the start, the car service to the restaurant was easy and simple. We did wait for a while once we got to the restaurant for another couple to show, but they never did which was actually a good thing- we ended up with a totally private class at Il Ritrovo. Our teacher, “Mary Lu” couldn’t have been better. We made delicious pasta and sea bass while enjoying some white wine. Her nephew owns the restaurant and I wish we could have gone back for another dinner. They also went out of their way and had a special birthday cake slice for my husband with some sparklers. They did change the time of our reservation from 3pm to 9am which worried me; however I think that it actually worked out better given the wait time and how long it took to prepare everything. This is worth the money and probably my favorite experience while we were on the coast!
