Three-D art fanatics will love the impressive collection of Ju Ming sculptures on display at the famous Ju Ming Museum. The former adolescent apprentice to Lee Chin-Chuan became an expert craftsman in multimedia and today, is an artistic icon in Taipei. His works—many of which are on display at this museum—include bronze, stainless steel, Styrofoam and wood. His style is recognized as being minimalist and rigid, using hard edges and blocked lines to inform his work. And while some designs are beautiful for beauty’s sake, many offer commentary on the changing social and political landscape of his city, his nation and the world at large.
