Avoid this tour

Muay Thai (Thai boxing) Lesson With Private Transfer From Bangkok | feb 2020
Avoid this. While I have nothing bad to say about the lesson itself, the tour was terribly organized. I was supposed to go on Saturday but there was a mixup and, after being taken to the stadium, it was closed. The tour was rearranged for Sunday. Firstly the driver was 40 minutes late, then he dumped me in a shopping mall and it turned out this was not taking place at the stadium. Staff were very unhelpful. Afterwards I had to keep phoning to even find out where the driver was to go back home. It’s Thailand, I can do Muay Thai anywhere. The whole attraction was to do it at the stadium with its history. Such a massive disappointment and thoroughly unhelpful staff, who did not even tell me about a venue change. Avoid this one.

Great Muay Thai Class!

Muay Thai (Thai boxing) Lesson With Private Transfer From Bangkok | sep 2019
My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Muay thai class! They started with a high intensity warm-up but then got to it with the steps to muay thai. The instructors had high expectations but also were funny and engaging. I felt like I learned how to box and work up a sweat in an hour. It was engaging, adrenaline pumping and exciting. I highly recommend this class to anyone willing to get their blood pumping and learn a thing or two about muay thai.

Private Kanchanaburi Erawan Waterfall&Thai-Burma Death Railway Tour from Bangkok | jun 2019
We were collected from our hotel as arranged. Tour guide and driver were very professional and smart, an extremely comfortable drive. Toni our guide was knowledgeable and informative from the start explaining how our day was going to plan out. We were not at all rushed on out trip and were given a good amount of time to wander at our leisure so not to miss any part of the trip. We really enjoyed the day albeit long.

Maeklong Railway & Amphawa Floating Market with Firefly Boat Tour from Bangkok | mrt 2019
This tour was a mess from start to finish. Our guide 'Call me Mr Airport' was over half an hour late picking us up. After introducing himself with his very limited English he promptly ignored us all until our first stop at the railway. We had a hot and narrow walk along the tracks with no idea when the train would start. No preliminary talk to let us know what to look for. All we were told by Mr Airport was to meet him in 45 minutes. We all managed to find our way back to him and got back into the van. Two minutes before arriving at the floating markets he told us to meet at a particular time for the boat that would take us down the river for the fireflies. He headed off at a startling pace without ever looking behind. The markets were incredibly crowded and because we were at the rear of 14 people lost sight of him . We looked for him for 15 minutes or so then gave up and went and had something to eat. I rang him 30 minutes later from the middle of the bridge where we had lost him and were told off for getting lost. With no knowledge or information from him we were hurried to a spot to meet the boat. No other people on tour had arrived at that stage. After a long boat trip and a handful of fireflies we got back into the van. 30 minutes before dropping us off Mr Airport says goidbye and gets off!!. Ten.minutes later a young.man named Elf who was assisting him gets off as well, everyone on the bus was amazed. We had all paid to have a guide for the day. We got nothing in return. All of us agreed the whole day was a fiasco. Never again!

Maeklong Railway & Amphawa Floating Market with Firefly Boat Tour from Bangkok | sep 2018

Friday morning after early lunch we met our driver at my hotel lobby. The best way to Amphawa floating market is to join a day tour. I booked UME Travel because of its price is lower than others and they provide insurance for free.
Amphawa opens in the afternoon and the evening is particularly lively. Local people sells goods and food, taking a long tail boat, when night falls, fireflies flickered on the tree, thats amazing! This was really a good memory for us. They did not provide dinner but you can taste snacks everywhere. I strongly recommend you to taste seafood there, fresh and tasty!

Maeklong Railway & Amphawa Floating Market with Firefly Boat Tour from Bangkok | sep 2018
Itinerary of the tour was not planned very good and the tour guide wanted only to short our duration of the tour. Tour should have been one with a English tour guide, but his level of English was so bad that nobody in our group understood our tour guide.

Maeklong Railway & Amphawa Floating Market with Firefly Boat Tour from Bangkok | sep 2018

Our driver was friendly, though he speaks poor English, he helped us a lot. Our guide Miu, she is knowledgeable and helpful. They picked us at our hotel lobby around 12:00PM. One and a half hour drive, we arrived at Maeklong railway, the train came slowly about 1:40PM. There were many tourists taking pictures of the train and the market. The train stopped at Maeklong Railway station which is the last station. The sellers offer local products at the market. Then We went to Amphawa floating market, we took a long tail boat which holds about 10 people. We tasted lot of local snacks. Local people like to go to Amphawa rather than Damnoen Saduak Floating Market.
This day tour was provided by UME Travel and our consultant Carrie responded quickly to our questions.

Maeklong Railway & Amphawa Floating Market with Firefly Boat Tour from Bangkok | sep 2018

Clean van, cold water and nice guide, a really happy tour.
If you are confused about which floating market to go, I recommend you Amphawa. This tour designed very well, visit Maekong railway market first then transfer to Amphawa floating market. Because Amphawa opens in the afternoon and special when night falls.
I super loved the ice cream bought in railway market, guide told us it is very popular in local people.
If you come to Amphawa do not miss this shop Pawat Somtum Seafood. Our guide Ekk told us it is the most delicious shop selling seafood in Amphawa. Luckily we tasted!
All kind of snacks and souvenirs everywhere, taking the long tail boat enjoying local lifestyle, it was really a relax and unforgettable time.

Maeklong Railway & Amphawa Floating Market with Firefly Boat Tour from Bangkok | aug 2018

Excellent tour. Others offer the Damnoensaduak floating market but this tour offers the must -see Amphawa floating market and Train market. Train market is the special market of Thailand. There are seven trains pass by a day. We set off at 11:30had a nice sleep and an early lunch, no need to rush and luckily saw this exciting scene. The Floating Market, only opens at weekends, few foreigners but more locals. Plenty of time to look around and taste thai food. When night falls, we had a chance to take a long tail boat to meet the fireflies. From a distance, many people think it's fake, because it looks like a Christmas tree, but when the boat is near the shore, one or two of them will fly to your side. Our guide, was very good at explanation and extremely sweet. Recommended!!!
