Really enjoyed this tour. Our guide was extremely passionate about Gaudi and shared much information about the buildings. Some in our group complained about not going into the Sagrada Familia but we were very aware this was the case. Photo wise I would suggest going in the morning as the harsh afternoon sun spoiled some of my pics. Still loved it but.
That was the worst tour! Out guide spoke broken English and made strange comment after most short talks along the way.it was extremely over priced. We shared the coach and mic in the coach with the Spanish tour their guide kept the mic and did not give our guide time to speak to us in English
We met up for our tour at the tour office and were collected into a group of 12 and quickly boarded a bus to be taken to our first stop. Once there, we began a narrated walking tour of a commercial section of Barcelona. The guide wears a portable speaker to amplify her voice but you need to stay close to hear her spoken words. Later we continued to La Sagrada Familia and discussed the structure from the outside you DO NOT GO inside on this tour and finally a bus ride to Park Guell. Evidently the Viator tour guide from Julia Travel is NOT allowed to take the group into Park Guell so you will be handed off tho join another group and another guide at the Park's entrance. You stand around until all the combined groups gather about 26 people now and then set off on a great deal of walking and climbing terraced steps. It is much cooler up in the park so prepare yourself. Overall, the tour was nice but odd. A full bus for 12 people saves a lot of steps but being combined with another group and a different guide half way through the tour is odd. I am glad to have done the tour but can't say that it will be memorable. Park Guell is quite a distance away in the north section of town so if that is a must then this tour will get you there.
Truly disappointing - unclear of location to meet and very rude people on the phone and in the office.
Unclear as to exact sighting and misleading all around. I would not recommend this to anyone. You do not go inside the Sagrada Familia just look across the street with crowds of other tourists.
We had Carlos and he was fantastic, personable, knowledgeable, and charismatic. It was not clear that we would not get to tour the inside of La Sagrada Familia, which was a disappointment especially when you have limited time in Barcelona. Otherwise the tour was great.
Excellent tour, knowledgeable and friendly guide. The only small thing I would change is the departure time. Perhaps a departure time an hour earlier as it got dark soon after we arrived at Park Guell.
Barcelona is a fascinating city. We loved every moment of the 3 days we were there. The Artistic Barcelona tour including Gaudi's La Sagrada and Park Guell is a must. They are the two most popular things to see. The tour director for La Sagrada Familia was very well informed. I would highly recommend this tour.
I would not recommend this trip. It was chaotic, disorganized and I'm still not sure what the intent or purpose of the tour was other than providing transportation to 2 sites and admission to one park. We couldn't hear the tour guide, she did not provide much explanation or context, and her microphone was not professional enough for the environment and conditions. We exited the tour early and did not complete it, which was a first for us, and I would absolutely not consider this type of trip or operator again without further research. I was disappointed in my Barcelona selection.
This was a decent tour, although I felt like our tour guide was a little stale. I appreciated seeing the Sagrada only the outside, not the inside, which was fine and Parc Guell, but the other two Gaudi places Batlla and Pedrera weren't officially listed on the tour when I signed up, and I didn't really want to spend time on them I'd seen them the day before so I felt like some more accurate info would have been nice. All in all, it was a painless way to see a couple of famous places in Barcelona that I otherwise would not have learned as much about, so it was worth it.
