Dear Punitha...
Thank you for your review.
Jamie had much to contend with on that day – train delays, inclement weather and some participants who were not fit enough for the tour. Yes, the guide did give you his umbrella. He got soaked. Yes, he did ask you for the umbrella back, at the end of the tour, after the rain had stopped.
Jamie enquired about you all the time and tried to help you any way he could, but he also had another 20 persons on the tour who wanted their tour to be completed in a reasonable time.
That is a great point you brought up about the weather. A quick weather check on the day, grabbing a jacket on the way out the door, or picking up an umbrella at the reception, might be the difference between a good, or a not so good, day.
Jamie is not just a great guide, he is a gentleman in the purest sense of the word. It is an integral part of all guide’s obligations to look after every individual in their group. Jamie is, in this regard, more caring than most guides we know. On this forum he has gotten many, many, maybe hunderds of excellent reviews. Only excellent reviews. Enter his name in the search above and see for yourself. We are blessed to have him on our team and we hope he stays with us untill his retirement.
Thank you again for your review.
Kind regards,
Gerard
