Dagtrip naar Chichen Itza vanuit Cancun

Alles was heel goed geregeld! We werden op tijd opgehaald in de lobby van een hotel vlakbij ons hotel door een bus met airco.We konden eerst zwemmen in een cenote terwijl de chauffeur en de gids de kaartjes voor Chitzen Itza gingen halen, zodat we daarvoor niet in de rij hoefden te wachten. We hadden een prima lunch in een maya dorp, daar werden we tijdens de lunch vermaakt met dansers in maya klederdracht. Bij Chitzen Itza wist de gids er heel veel over te vertellen. Al met al een goed georganiseerde dagexcursie.

El viaje es un poco largo, procuren llevar snacks para el camino, los guías fueron muy amables y atentos. la pasé muy bien aunque fuí sola, logré hacer buenos amigos. es muy seguro pero igual es necesario andar con cautela. Te puedes bañar en el cenote, entonce es mejor que lleves un paño o ropa de cambio.

What an AMAZING Experience, this was partly because of our tour guide Raphael. He made the trip and long van ride fantastic. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything while bringing you into the conversation effortlessly. Although more time would have been nice to explore the ruins, you can still see it all if you hurry! The staff at EKNX surpassed my expectations. The driver was very professional, always on time and you will always feel safe with him. I believe his name was Javier. This trip is highly recommended!

Excellent experience. The guide was well informed, professional, and simpatico. The driver was also excellent. This was a nice way of getting a little immersed in both the Mayan and Mexican cultures. Without our guide, we would not have learned to significance of Mayan architecture, culture, religion, and advanced physics. I highly recommend this tour.

This was one of the best tours we could have done! What a great experience. We learnt so much! The food was amazing! The tour guides were on point! We would for sure recommend this tour to anybody thinking about it!

Me sobró la visita a una tienda de recuerdos que, por cierto, estaban el triple de caros que dentro del recinto de Chichen Itza.
Por lo demás, muy interesante la visita y tiempo libre de Chichen Itza y el remojo en el Cenote

Nice coach with experienced tour guide

It is hotter than the sun. There is very little shade at the site, so definitely consider an umbrella, hat and fan. This cannot be emphasized enough. The cenote is really crowded and kind of smells like a public pool. It is beautiful, though. I wish there was more time at the colonial village, Villadolid. You only get about 30 minutes there, which really is not enough. I did not like the little village they took us to with the cooking demonstration. The food is not that great and the store sells cheap products that you find everywhere else. I wish we spent less time there and more time in Villadolid. The guides were great - Suzy and I cannot remember the guy's name. Suzy did the historical tour portion and she was great.
