Neem plaats voor de licht- en geluidsshow en kijk dramatische verlichting en geavanceerde mapping projectietechnieken verlichten de 1500 jaar oude Kukulcán-piramide en bieden inzicht in de turbulente geschiedenis van de Maya-beschaving.
Nadat de show is afgelopen, keert u terug naar uw minivan met airconditioning en neemt u deel aan de reis terug naar Cancun of Riviera Maya. Geniet van een doosdiner (kies uit een biefstuk en avocado-stokbrood, kipfilet of vegetarische optie) en leun achterover totdat u uw bestemming bereikt.

I have been to Chichen Itza three times now and this tour is hands down the best way to see it. The value is great, the guides are the most knowledgeable and just everything was perfect. The Mercedes Passenger Vans are so much more comfortable than the buses and walking around was much better as you could easily hear the guide and did not get lost in the crowd. I can not recommend this tour enough!!
Tour was excellent and that is all due to our fabulous Tour Guide Maurice and Driver Pedro. I rate the tour experience 5. The appetizers, tapas, drinks 4 and the box lunch 3.
Tour Guide knowledge of the Mayan culture, the temples and just his general insight is truly note worthy and exceptional. The night light show was unbelievably beautiful. The only regret was that the headphones were not made available, but the information given to us previous to the show from our guide made watching without headphones bearable because of all the information he laid out to us. This is truly a must see/do before leaving Cancun.
We were disappointed with the way this excursion went down. The tour description says the departure time is 12:30 but when we confirmed our pick up we were told it would be 1:30. We were at the pick up site at 1:20 and they didn't show up until 2:20 almost two hours later than the tour description led us to believe.
The result was a very short and rushed tour of the ruins and we didn't get to see half of the site. We did not get time to shop at the vendors because they were packing up for the day and our guide was constantly telling us that we had to keep moving. The marguiritas and food were good, the tour guide was knowledgeable and courteous and the bus was comfortable.
We did enjoy the planetarium and the light show was cool but this tour was expensive and we didn't feel like we got our money's worth.
Tour was good! Rosendo the guide was great! However the planning/organization of the hotel pick ups was really bad. We were picked up on time in Cancun, but the two couples in Playa del Carmen were picked up very late due to the driving distance. This resulted in not enough time at Chichen Itza site before the 5pm closing. We needed at least another 30-60 minutes before heading back to the hotel for the included tapas and margaritas.
Everything was perfect - the weather, the food, the entertaining, the trip, the time at Chichen Itza, the driving back and forth but the absolute top of the mast was our driver and guide Mauricio. We had a very good time with him and I hope one day I will see him again.

Maurice, our guide, was extremely informative, educational and a blast to hang out with on this tour! He was extremely accommodating and extremely helpful in explaining things! The tour itself was amazing especially the light show at the end. It's a long ride from our hotel in Cancun but worth it!
