Le guide parlait un anglais approximatif et donnait peu d'explications. Trois quart des personnes du groupe ont préféré visiter le musée d'anthropologie par eux-mêmes sans l'aide du guide.

It was fanatastic , our tour guide was very knowledgeable on the history of the palace as well as the history of Mexico. Really enjoyed the day. Some tips or house keeping for future tours . Our guide did not have a Viator shirt on as described in the tour so we had to approach a few strangers at the meeting point before we found the correct person, would suggest an umbrella or sign if shirts are not available for staff. The meeting point was very large ,would suggest a more specific location be described. The tour of the palace required a very very steep walk, participants should be warned of possible issues with the climb. Also there was a long walk to the museum and then a the tour of the museum. Participants should be aware of the distance and length of this tour. I cant stress enough how fantastic the tour was, I guess we were not prepared for the length and the amount of walking. Finally we requested an English tour guide, and Sergios was great however we had a person that spoke no English join the tour which meant Sergio had to explain everything twice. Would highly recommend Sergio and this tour!

The early access to Chapultepec more than worth the price we paid. Our tour guide was nice enough but his English was not great. The museum of Natural History was amazing, however, it should have been on a separate day. Too much for one day, but overall a good experience

Jocelyn was a wonderful guide, very personable, and clearly had a vast amount of knowledge about Mexico's history. It was definitely a smart move to have English translations for our visit to Chapultepec Castle and the anthropology museum. So much information to absorb, and as others have pointed out, all of the signage at Chapultepec is in Spanish. Our only critique was that it felt as though more detailed information was presented to the other guests in Spanish, then summarized in English without as much detail. It was a bilingual tour so I know some of this couldn't be helped, and honestly, I can't be sure my observations is true, but that was our experience. All said, I'd still book again!

The tour was quite interesting - with the Castle portion being the most interesting.
The tour was quite well run - but with such a large group 15 it was difficult at times to hear everything that the tour guide had to say. The history and paintings in the Castle is very well laid out - but it did almost become a bit overwhelming towards the end - tour guide was losing some people's interest. I had hoped that there was to be more time at the Anthropology museum with the tour guide - actually having some of the rooms being shown with him. He did tell us the rooms that had the most spectacular items which was good, but as a lot of the explanation signage of pieces being in Spanish - it did make it a bit more difficult to navigate and find out information. The museum itself is amazing and a must to see tho! There was quite a bit of a wait to get into the Anthropology museum as the tour guide had to wait in the same line as the rest of the public to buy the tickets - unlike other tours I have done where tour guides have priority or a separate line to buy tickets. Overall - both locations are a must see - I may have done a tour with a smaller group to hear better, and be a bit more personalized.

Lots of problems here. Tour was supposed to start around 9, after waiting for late arrivals. I think it started at 9:30. Tour dragged on because the guide needed to do an English and a Spanish version. As a result, we never got to sit down and have a lunch. Instead we had to push on after the castle tour to the museum and I gotta tell you that most folks needed a break. Not a fan of this tour.

Not a bad tour and Guide was very good. The reasons for a 3 star review are: the whole tour was standing / walking time and most everybody had sore feed by the end and just want to sit down somewhere. they should have a lunch break to break up the tour a little. The other issue id that the tour guide was set on finishing at 1:30 on the dot so the last section of the museum was an obvious rush. Lastly the tour does not cover the whole castle or the whole museum which is really not the tours fault. The tour ends at the museum so you can stay there when done. In retrospect I'd go on my own to each place and spend more time at each place.

Our guide Ivan was absolutely excellent. Thoroughly worthwhile and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend.

muy buena experiencia, pero el tiempo dedicado al museo de antropología no fue suficiente, solo se visito la sala mexica

We loved this tour and our guide was very informative! My only suggestion, is that the guide wear a hat with the tour company logo. In rushing to get to the meeting point on time main entrance was closed, we scrambled a bit to locate him apart from other folks there. Once we got going though, we really enjoyed it! We learned about how diverse the culture was here, as it wasn't just the Aztecs. Just like in present day real life, there are plenty of layers of rich history interwoven into the heritage of this region. Looking with my California/American eyes, we mainly just hear about the Aztecs and Mayans. Loved that our guide shed much light on the variety of cultures as we toured each section of the Anthro museum. And as he did with the pre-hispanic history, so he did with the more modern history in regards to the castle. Loved the stories he shared about Benito Juarez and Emperor Maximilian. Besides hearing their names in passing, I had know idea about the complexities of Mexican political history. We really enjoyed each tour. Not meaning to confuse in my review, but we did the castle tour first, then the museum. Enjoy!
