This is a great trip to get a feel for the area. The tour is for a large group of people, which is not really my preference, but for the price, this is the standard. The hotels were lovely. The only comment I would make would be recommending less stops so we could have more time at the prime spots. We left the hotel very early in the morning, and got there after 6:00 pm at night. Helene was our tour guide for most of the trip. She was amazing. Mostly we loved it. Just a little tiring.

Guide Corinne who was with us for the first day and a half was excellent. Guide for remainder of the trip was difficult to understand when speaking English. She seemed much more at home in Spanish and, of course, French. Itinerary should include more time at the D-Day landing sites, including the Museum, and could eliminate one or two chateaus/castles. Accommodations and meals were outstanding. Buses and drivers were first rate. All in all, a good experience.

Helt fantastisk resa! Mycket nöjd med allt! Kunniga guider, bra bemötande, bra övernattningshotell och mycket god mat som ingår i resan. Helt fantastiskt! Kan inte hitta ngt negativt, helt nöjd med resan!

The guide on the tour was ok but not great. She didn't spend anytime getting to know the people on the tour. The other guide presrnted in Spanish to a smaller group on people on the tour and whenever there was a dinner, she reserved the best table for them and told me specifically to find another table. I've been on over tour operated by other tour operators and those were much better.

Tour was excellent, was not real crazy of hotel choice on the first day!

Tour Guide wasn't great. Moved far too fast for a group of older folks and was much too abrupt when asked to slow down.

She never introduced herself to the group.

The tour itself was good insofar as great stops and wonderful scenery. Food was far below average.

I can't rate this highly enough! The tour was very well organized from the informative guides to the hotel accommodations to the meals. Everything was punctual and professional. The blend of sites was amazing. We felt we had learned and seen so much in those 3 days!

Wanted more military history at Normandy.

Normandy, and St. Malo, we're lovely as an independent day trip. The guides were knowledgeable and were able to tell us about the regions. We felt very rushed and not enough time was left for exploring the area. Hotel accommodations and food for evening meal were average to poor quality.

Not a bad tour, but very rushed at times. Day one we spent a great deal of time "at leisure" in Rouen and Honfleur only to be rushed through Normandy. Ten minutes at Omaha Beach, less than an hour at the American Cemetery and Museum and five minutes overlooking the mulberries at Gold Beach; we also passed two museums that looked like they could have been interesting- at least I know where they are now. The second day at Mont Saint-Michel and Saint Malo was a bit more balanced and time was adequate to give both a good looking over. Day three was a nice morning drive, the Chateau Langeais and lunch in Amboise. Chateau Chenonceau was a bit more rushed, but the time was reasonably adequate (except for the late return of one of the passengers that put us about 20 minutes behind- he just made the bus as we were *finally* pulling away, darn!). As a result, the stop at Chateau Chambord was pretty rushed as we got there just in time for closing. Again, overall not a bad tour. But, if you see Normandy as the first word in the title and think you're spending a lot of time with D-Day touring an spending time at the beaches, it's not so; take a different tour.
