Mount Batur-vulkanen – Fottur med frokost ved soloppgang

Great experience. Bring a coat. This is no easy hike for most as some may claim. It is cooooold at the top, the food may not be your cup of tea, so bring a snack. Absolutely gorgeous view, worth the hike!!!! They also have the option to take a scooter/ dirt bike most of the way up.

Awesome experience! Wayan picked us up from our hotel in Ubud at 2:30 AM in his late model SUV. The drive to Mount Batur took a little over an hour where we were promptly met by our trekking guide. Trip up the volcano is made in the dark with a flashlight and is more strenuous than we expected. That being said we made it to the top at 5:20, about an hour before sunrise. Looking back on it we should have hiked slower and taken more breaks so that we didn't have as much time on the top before sunrise. The top of the volcano is extremely windy and cold so I would recommend you bring a jacket, but luckily our guide had an extra jacket for my wife. Breakfast was basic, but adequate and the sunrise was beautiful. Our guide then took us down from the summit to see a deep hole with volcano steam and the resident wild monkeys who are actually friendlier than the monkeys at Ubud's Monkey Forest. From there we hiked back down to where we started. All in all the experience was unforgettable and we would highly recommend it!

I highly recommend trekking up Mt Batur for the sunrise - it's absolutely stunning and the trek is fairly easy. Our pickup was very punctual and the car was comfortable, we slept on the way. Our guide was fantastic, really good fun to talk to and of course he led us to the top. Would go again!

Breath taking, thanks to Eka and Wayan. Our tour started at 1:30 a.m., we drove for 2 hours and trekked up Mt. Batur for 2hr. It was a bit challenging the closer we got to the peak, but once we go to the top it was such a wonderful moment to see the sun rising and the color of the sky changing.

This tour was amazing due to our tour guide/driver Gede. Gede was only supposed to be our driver, but when got to the base of Mount Batur our guide for the trek up the mountain didn't show up!!! Luckily Gede was amazing and took us up, something he was not paid to do or even had to do! We couldn't have asked for a better experience from Gede, he grew up in the village and knew exactly where to go on the trek and we felt totally safe the whole time. The sunrise trek itself was one of the most memorable experiences we had in Bali and I'll never forget it. From seeing all of the stars in the sky, to watching the sun slowly rise over the horizon - I definitely recommend this trip for everyone that can handle the physical activity.

This was definitely worth getting up at 1am for! The hike was perfectly paced with lots of breaks on the way up and we enjoyed a yummy breakfast of banana sandwiches, boiled eggs and a chocolate bar at top. We had a slight issue on the day of our tour but it was easily rearranged for the next day

This was SO much fun! My driver, Eka, was prompt, courteous, safe knowledgeable. He brought me by a coffee plantation on the way back that was incredible. My tour guide, Ari, was INCREDIBLE! He made he trip so fun! He was encouraging, informative and very pleasant. Loved every minute.

Wasn't too sure about getting up at 2 am to go hiking. But this was awesome the views were unexplainably beautiful. Our tour guide and driver were really great too and very considerate and helpful!

Unfortunately we did not get to see the sunrise due to the clouds .But I guess nature was playing Peek a Boo with us and showing us the other brilliant stuff it has in store from up there. The trek was great ... 1700 mts to climb .....
