Hva du kan forvente

Start dagen med morgenhenting på ditt Ho Chi Minh City-hotell. Gå ombord på en buss for den naturskjønne kjøreturen til My Tho, med et stopp ved Ben Luc for å besøke et særegent Vinh Trang-tempel.

Ved ankomst til My Tho, overfør til en motorbåt for et cruise langs Mekong-elven, passerer fiskemerder og flytende hus underveis, og nyt utsikten over det klassiske Mekong-deltaet. Stopp ved en liten øy i elven for å besøke et familiehjem, lytt til tradisjonell vietnamesisk musikk og smak frisk frukt, honningte og honningvin. For å fortsette inn i de mindre kanalene som forgrener seg fra hovedvannveien, gå ombord i en robåt som er manøvrerbar og perfekt for å dukke under gangbroer og overhengende planter. Generelt var turen veldig skuffende og føltes som en turistfelle. Vi ble hentet 20 minutter senere fra hotellet og ble deretter informert, noe som var ok på grunn av at trafikken kan være ganske dårlig. Det tok ytterligere 25 minutter før vi samlet hele gruppen. I tilfelle du er den første som blir hentet, vil du være rundt 45 minutter i bussen før turen starter. Det tar rundt 2 timer før du ankommer første stopp (Pagoda) Vennligst påminn reiselederen din hvis du har matallergier selv om du har nevnt det i bestillingen din. Turistguiden var ganske humørsyk og litt aggressiv hvis du sier noe han ikke er enig i. Ved hvert stopp langs turen (f.eks. drikker honningte) prøver folk å selge deg noe. På lunsjstedet har de flere dyr i bur som var ganske trist på grunn av at burene tydeligvis egentlig var for små for alle dyrene. Hvis du har et hjerte for dyr, vil jeg ikke anbefale å ta denne turen. Etter min mening er det mye bedre turer.

beste guide noensinne! Viet guider oss fra Ho Chi Minh-byen til Mekong-deltaet. Vi tilbrakte en fantastisk dagstur med ham. Først av alt besøkte vi den utrolige Trang-pagoden, så dro vi direkte til elven. Jeg anbefaler denne turen fordi guiden er så profesjonell og stedene er nydelige!

Not really a small group (up to 25). The bus was also in rough shape and the seats were SMALL. Smallest seats I’ve encountered on a tour in Vietnam. The tour itself is a little kitschy and people are trying to sell you stuff the whole time. At the coconut candy factory they had children working. The pagoda was by far the best part.

I highly recommend this tour, we thoroughly enjoyed it!!!! Viet was great. I would recommend carrying some extra cash for tips etc.

For the price it was a packed tour. However, this also means that almost every stop on the way is a shopping promo. The experience looked very artificial as most of the "locals" seemed like they were forced to entertain us, tourists, for very little money. Also, our guide was trying a bit too hard to be funny, most of his joke attempts didn't really land.
Greatest tour and places to visit while you are in Saigon.

This tour was wonderful, first of all I want to say about our guide. Many thanks to our guide Theo, besides the fact that he has a lot of interesting information, he also has a good sense of humor and interacts with the participants of the tour. And most of all struck that he speaks several languages. About the excursion - the impressions that we received exceeded our expectations. We sailed on the ferry, visited 2 islands, rode boats on the delta river and had a great meal of local cuisine before the last point of our tour where we visited a beautiful pagoda with 3 huge buda statues. Highly recommend add this tour to your list.

It's a nice little trip with lots of different activities but since it's far away from Saigon we felt like we were rushing all the time and didn't have too much time for anything.
Not worth the 4 hours round trip.

Theres really no point to this trip. Its all a big rush. You’re on a ferry, then a row boat, then lunch, then a bicycle self tour. Its incredibly touristy, as in there’s nothing traditional about it. It feels incredibly forced and unwelcoming. You may enjoy it if you’re older and wanting a relaxed half day. Not worth the 4 hour round trip. 2 stars only because the guide was very upbeat.

We had a great time during the trip learning a lot of the Vietnamese culture. We had a great guide Bao, an enthusiastic young man who is helpful and courteous.

The tour itself was amazing, a lot of things to see and lots of info to take. The only big minus is that we were being rushed to move which should not happen becuz: •we booked the tour with small group 12 persons, but in reality the group’s size was only 8. So we should have more time but unfortunately it didnt. •on the discription, they said we can have a bit time to relax on hammock/bike bicycle around a bit. We did not have this in our tour. •the tour is susposed to be finished at 3:30 at My Tho. But in fact the tour guide was already rushing people to finish at around 2:15. We had almost no extra time to look around for souvernir or to buy local food. Our guide (Mr. Thanh) is very funny, knowledgable, but hectic. Overall a fun trip and good experience.

The pickup was just in time. Driber drove perfect with a big bus. Tourguide with good English and some funny stories. The tour was awesome. you can see so many things there. From a Bee farm over traditional Music to the Mekong River. Great. we fully recommend this tour.

Nguyet was a very knowledgeable guide who explained the history and culture of the Mekong as we traveled through the region. Lunch was delicious and the car was comfortable. We had a great day!

Great trip got a feel of life outside Ho Chi Minh. The guide was friendly and informative and the day passed quickly with a variety of activities. Food was great!

Tour guide was great but this tour itself is a tourist trap. We paid extra for the small group tour only to find ourselves at the same sites, mostly souvenir markets set up specifically for tourists or tacky restaurants along with other tour groups. Busy, crowded, and felt inauthentic to the core.

Enjoyed the boat ride and info from the guide. Had fun on paddle boats to ladies rowing raced other boats. Very much set up for tourists but it was enjoyable.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable and provided good customer service. We were picked up from the hotel and dropped back to the hotel. The driver was very good and drove safely. Water was provided. The food was good too. great tour with a good price. Hope to go on my tours through Viator

Excellent tour. Our guide picked us up right on time. He spoke excellent English and had a great sense of humor. He was also able to answer all our groups questions. While the tour is a little “touristy”, I think they did a good job hitting the highlights both in terms of where we visited and the activities we did. Our favorite part is the small boat trip thru the densest part of the delta which was really cool! Lunch was also excellent and had a wide range of offerings.

Our pick up was on time and Giao was delightful and a very good tour guide. She kept us informed of what we were going to see and some history behind things. She was always willing to answer questions. We learned so much about how the coconut is valued and used in so many ways. I think the highlight was the canoe trip through the thick vegetation…. Just beautiful. We returned right on time. Great day!
