We went to two castles. The first one was Chambord, which was ok. The highlight was the staircase. The second one was a lot better, more history, just a better experience.

Helene and the entire staff were amazing! The bus was super comfortable and having WiFi was such an added bonus. Helene was very knowledgeable about the history of the buildings and people who lived in them. She did a terrific job in making it all come alive.

Great tour with knowledgeable guides. The wine tasting was in a room of one of the castles which was nice but there was too many people that crowded around the table so it was hard to get to the wine. Other than that, great tour, comfortable bus. I recommend it!

Jewels of Loire. Castles and beautiful nature. So much history. This trip highlights the most beautiful ones, and if you only have one day it is a perfect trip.

Our tour guide was excellent, giving us real insight into the lives of the kings and queens who lived in these castles. We visited d'Amboise on our tour, which was a favorite of Leonardo da Vinci. He is buried here. I am a huge da Vinci buff so this was a thrill for me. The town surrounding the castle is just what you expect a quaint French town to be, and there was plenty of time for shopping, lunch, or just relaxing at an outdoor bistro. Chenonceau is a must see. Google a little history before you visit, and you will appreciate it even more. There is even a hedge maze! This tour is quite a long bus ride from Paris, but worth it. Awesome.

A única coisa que salva nesse passeio é a visitação à capela onde está enterrado o Leonardo da Vinci.
Os castelos em si são muito aquém de qualquer expectativa.
Pelo valor, e por perder o dia inteiro no passeio (bem cansativo), minha avaliação é que não vale a pena.

Amazing!

Great to get out of the city and see some historic buildings. There are some other tours that visit three chateaus/castles but this one visits two. We booked this one particularly to see Leonardo da Vinci's final resting place. The wine tasing was great - a bit of rose, white, and red and grape juice for my 2 kids along with some appetizers to cleanse the palette. English brochures were available at both Amboise and Chenonceau to read more about the history/properties. In Amboise, do follow the advice and go to lunch early to make sure you get back to the bus on time!
