San Francisco, California
Big and awesome day. Tour guide was okay. But if you like leg room... hire a car or use someone else - Bus was a sardine can, our legs and back ached for a day afterwards, even my wife who is 5 foot 4. Normally this wouldnt bother me too much, but you are sitting in that bus for like 6 hours! Meal and restroom breaks were fine.

Thank you for your feedback. At Viator, we constantly strive to deliver the best in guest experiences and we value insight such as yours to help us improve our service. We understand that it can be uncomfortable to sit for long hours in one bus, which is why provide ample stops to get out and stretch. Our local operator prides themselves on providing a more personal, small group experience which precluded the use of more spacious large buses. The tour provider has taken your suggestions in consideration for assigning vehicles on the longer day trips, to ensure guests are comfortable and able to fully enjoy the beauty of Yosemite Park. br>/br> We're glad that you enjoyed the rest of your tour and hope you will consider us in the future. Happy travels!

Okay, but this company is very inflexible and difficult to deal with. The queues at the office on 8th ave are huge, expect to wait about 30mins to be seen. I wanted to pick up my tickets a day early but was told this wasnt possible - despite my booking being for set days. Tickets have to picked up on the first day of your booking. Do yourselves a favour, buy 7 day unlimited subway pass for $30 and use the metro to get to the things you want to see, its easy, its safe, its quick and its cheap.... not to mention an experience all in itself. You do miss the views at street level, but if thats important catch the metro up to Harlem (this area has been safe for years now) and catch a cab down 5th ave all the way down to lower manhatten - may cost another $30 but you'll still be in front and you might even score a good cabbie who will give you some information on what you are seeing. You'll see the architecture change as you go through the various neighbourhoods. Oh, thats the other thing, the info included on the hop on hop off is nothing you couldnt find out about in lonely planet or a city search. Good luck. I wont be using this type of service on any of my future travels, particularly Grayline.

Absolutely brilliant. One of the more expensive tours we did but was worth every penny.
Washington D.C., District of Columbia
Was very good, but dont expect it to be a small group. You show up at the Old Post Office to find 200+ other people going on the tour! For some reason we thought we'd be in a smallish bus, but no, theres like 4 or 5 coaches full of people going around the traps. Still a good tour though, but its a flyby tour - quite a few stops but they are very brief, just long enough to take a few hurried photos then continue on your way. We took the tour on our first night in Washington which was good as we used as a fact finding exercise to see what we'd go back and see in the follwing days. Guide was great, restroom breaks are provided but are brief!!
Las Vegas, Nevada
Absolutely fantastic experience. The most expensive tour we booked but it was worth every cent. Pilot (Michael) was great - we were a little late getting away due to a problem with the audio system in the chopper, we were given an extended period out at the canyon to compensate. Views were fantastic, boat ride was brief but cool, the time at the rim was plentiful and not crowded like the south rim gets, the lunch was delicious and the limo took care of the transport as only limos can!
