This was a great one day tour, especially if you want to see as much as you can of Tuscany in a short period of time. The tour started at the Train station. We headed out of town driving through the Tuscan Hills. We stopped in Siena, and had a wonderful guide walk us through town, telling us the high points of Siena. Then it was on to San Gimignano, where we had time to walk the streets and do a little shopping. Then it was on to a wonderful organic farm outside of San Gimignano for a fantastic lunch. We then headed to Pisa, where we had plenty of time to take all the photos we needed, and walk around the Tower, Baptistry, etc. I will give a warning, only to make you ride more pleasant....if you have a tendency for motion sickness, and even if you don't, as a precaution, consider taking Bonine or Dramamine beforehand, as you will be on a bus riding on winding roads through the Hills of Tuscany.

By far the most fun tour we had during our time in Italy! We originally booked the Vespa tour. Before the tour, you are trained on driving the Vespa. If the guide does not feel you can handle the Vespa, you will ride in a vintage Fiat. Do not feel bad if the guide feels you cannot handle the Vespa, as he knows where you will be driving, and believe me, if you are not used to driving a Vespa or something similar, you should not try driving one on this tour. None in our group ended up driving the Vespa.....thank goodness! We drove, or rode, in the vintage Fiat and had the time of our lives. There was one couple on the Vespa, the rest of us following in the Fiats. The guide, Chris, was fantastic and so much fun! He made the tour what it was! Chris lead the group in one of the Fiats. We drove through the hills surrounding Florence, stopping several times for photos, or just to admire the beautiful views. At the end of the tour, we stopped at a wonderful place for dinner, which included wine, cheese and meats. It was truly one of those experiences we will always look back on as being our best memory of Italy.

This is a great tour, especially if you are short on time in Florence. We only had a few days and seeing Michelangelo's "David" was top on my list. Our guide, Antonella, was fantastic. Before we started the tour, I was concerned about all the walking, as we had some in our group that had knee problems. I soon learned there was no need for concern. Once Antonella started talking, you could tell her love of Fllorence. It showed in her discussions of Brunelleshi's Dome, Giotto's Bell Tower, and Ghiberti's Gates of Paradise; however, it really came through at the Accademia Gallery. When we entered the room where David stands, she instructed us not to look at it, but instead to focus on the unfinished statues first. As we approached each statue, she described each piece in great detail. As she did, she continued to tell us not to look at David. In doing this, she built up our excitement even more....if that is possible. I could tell Antonella loved Michelagelo as much as I do. When we finally approached David, I was so excited, I had tears in my eyes. It is as magnificent as I expected. Whether you have one day or five, I recommend this tour at the beginning of your time in Florence, as you will get to see several things at one time. Then, if there is something you want to go back to see in more detail, such as climbing to the top of the Duomo, you can do that later.

Very nice walking tour of Venice. Our guide took us through a couple of the different sections of Venice, explaining the differences of each section. The tour does cross over several bridges, so if you have difficulty climbing stairs, tell your guide beforehand, so they can go at a much slower pace. If you have a short time in Venice, as we did, this tour is a good one to take, allowing you to see a little more than the St Mark's Square area. You will see more of the "neighborhoods" of Venice.

I cannot say enough about this tour. I am not one who normally likes tours, and normally will do things on my own; however, because we were short on time and there is so much to see in Rome, I did not want to spend my time standing in long lines. The Skip the Line: Vatican Museums Small Group Tour is one of the best, if not the best tour, I have ever taken. It started early in the morning, just as the long lines are beginning to form. Considering how long and far we would be walking, I appreciated being able to skip the lines and walk right into the museum before they open to the public. The tour itself is about 3 1/2 to 4 hours long. You move at a fairly brisk pace, but it is not too bad. We had a couple of our group who suffered with knee problems and I was concerned at first about that, however, there was no need for concern. Our guides name was David, and we all felt like we were very lucky to get him, as he was entertaining, knowledgable and very interesting. Everyone forgot their aches and pains once David started talking. One could tell how much he loved the history of the Vatican. It was the fastest 3 1/2 to 4 hours of walking I have ever spent! At one point he paused to let us know we were halfway through and to show us where we started our tour. I was shocked we had walked that far, and we had been walking for two hours. It seemed like just a few minutes. David even spent a few minutes with us after the tour telling us more about the Vatican and suggesting other things to do while in Rome. I highly recommend this tour, as it is money very well spent!

I am so glad I booked this transfer! It made our arrival in Rome so easy. The gentleman was waiting for us with a sign when we came through the doors after going through passport checks. It was just a short walk to the taxi, which was a van and large enough for all the luggage we had for our group. He dealt with all of our luggage, both at the airport and the hotel.....very nice man. He was a good driver, in that he did not scares to death on the way to the hotel. Very pleasant experience, after a very long and cramped flight. I will book this again the next time I travel to Rome.

Maybe we were expecting more from this tour than we should have. The tour seemed to be somewhat un-organized. The tour group was not aware that some of the sites we were to see were not lit up, therefore when we drove by, all we saw was darkness. Also, I thought we were going to drive by, or get within walking distance, to more of the "touristy" places, such as the Spanish Steps and The Pantheon. There was confusion on the bus, as mid way through the tour, we had to combine two buses. The plus was, they did drop us off at our hotel after the tour, which was very nice and saved us cab fare. Our tour went right by our hotel, which was just a couple of blocks from St. Peter's Square.
