We had a lot of fun on this tour. We were picked up at a pre-arranged location near our hotel. As soon as the van was full approx. 16 people, we went for a beautiful drive along the Cape, accompanied by interesting info provided by Mike, our guide. Mike was knowledgable and personable. He was eager to answer questions and help us all have an enjoyable day. We stopped for an optional boat ride into Hout Bay to see a seal colony. That was fun, but if you are on a budget, you may not regret skipping this part. Other stops on the tour included great penguin viewing, a nice lunch outdoors, a hike up to the Cape lighthouse, and a short bike ride. The location for the bike ride was amazing and flat and made us wish we had our road bikes with us to explore the area widely. The bikes provided were in very rough shape. Rusty old mountain bikes. Mine had a very loose headset. Several of the helmets were old and had broken straps. This is the reason for four stars in this review and not five. Our driver, Freddy, was delightful and did his best to fit the bikes to the riders.
A great way to see many highlights and the beautiful scenery from Cape Town to Cape Point. The day is packed full, from an optional boat trip to see the seals, bike ride, seeing the penguins at Boulders Beach and mini hike, the day is very well organised. All activities are optional and you will not feel left out if you do not participate. Our guide and driver were friendly and knowledgeable. We also saw a few wild animals en route. Overall an amazing and memorable day
Incredible day! The drive to Hout Bay, down Chapmans Peak to Cape Point is absolutely breathtaking. Our guide was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, proving great insights throughout the day on the area. The day was well organised and planned out to maximise your time at the main points when they were also less busy! The visit to see the Penguins at Boulders Beach was a personal highlight!
A great way to see the Cape Peninsula, the tour has the optional bike and hike which really makes it different to the other tours and breaks the journey up. Very well planned so the only long drive is on route back to Cape Town. It was great to see the seals and penguins! The scenery was also very beautiful! Highly recommended!
It was a wonderful day going all around the Peninsula. The sights were amazing all day long.
Seeing the seals and the penguins was awesome. Little recommendation: let customers cycle all the way down to the picnic area as it goes down after all the small hills! Super fun day overall
A full packed day with plenty of sights and activities. It was great to see what was just outside Cape Town and the trip was full value for money. Diane was a terrific guide and made us a fabulous lunch also.
