We appreciated the smaller group and friendly hosts who escorted us out on the open water. Because we were off-season, we were able to have dinner on a sandbar as the evening moved toward sunset. It was a lovely and memorable time!
Amazing Darwin, although relatively a small city, have always loved my experiences there.
Easy to drive around and close to National parks, markets shopping and dining etc.
The sunset cruise was most enjoyable, with the highly entertaining and informative skipper and
Also enjoyed the Nightcliff markets and Lichfield national park was simply amazing.
I would highly recommend this tour. There was nothing I could fault about this. After leaving the Harbour, you get to speed up on the boat to Cullen bay where your preordered meal arrives in hot packs and it was beautiful. The best part was having tea on a sandbank in the harbour and the sunset was absolutely gorgeous. Our boat was full and everyone loved it. I would do it again in a heartbeat.
The Darwin Sunset Cruise w. Fish'n'chips was far, far better than we expected. A perfect evening, superb Fish'n'chips with some calamari thrown in. Skip and his lovely daughter looked after us and everyone. They keep the boat spotless and very comfortable.
We recommend this to everyone. We went past a boat trying to put up its sails. D.Sunset Cruise is the way to go.
Sorry no photos as yet.
I enjoyed this trip very much. We were lucky and the weather cooperated to produce a beautiful and colorful sunset. The fish and chips were very tasty and fresh. We got to learn a lot of the coastline surrounding Darwin. This is the one activity I had to cancel during my first Darwin trip in 2014 so I am very happy to have been able to do it this trip. The only problem was the taxi driver left me off in the wrong place and then after the cruise it was a bit of a walk to get a taxi to get back to my hotel, but it worked out well in the end.
